I also went afk, as someone posted below, in the Firiona Vie tunnel towards the book at the 'crossroads' came back no more than 10 mins later and my merc had killed a ton warrior, totem was on the corpse.

Stupid drop... cleared 5 times now.. no single Krup Froglok spawned. Killed Ton warriors, only pieces of the key found, cannot forage... ridiculous

After clearing the froglok city, killing ALL Ton Warriors, no Ton Warrior spawned anymore in Swamp of no Hope. I only got the pieces for the key (shaman quest) and tried to get foraging up (spent the 3 AA for that crap). Also killed for hours Frogs in Firiona Vie and NO SINGLE Ton Warrior, only Ton Knights. Ridiculous for a level 20. I made it with L55. So I petitioned and they said it works like intended. So I went to froglok city and guess?
One single Krup Warrior and 2 other Frogs were up at the place in the hut I cleared over and over again. I guess the GMs respawned the zone over night. If you have the same problem for days then simply petition. It seems that sometimes it is a problem of the respawning script...
BTW: no single Froglok Ton Warrior still in FV.
I assume that either the Totem is ULTRA RARE on Ton Warriors or they changed the quests so that Froglok Ton Warriors drop the pieces and the Krup drops the whole Totem.

I did this quest once for my husband's enchanter and got the totem off of the krup guards in the froglok city in Swamp of No Hope. I ran around killing the huts with 3-4 frogs in them till the krup guard spawned. Cut and dried, fairly easy.
I rolled up a chanter of my own a few weeks later and did the quest again. When I got to this part, I killed every danged frog in Swamp of No Hope for an hour and a half and no krup guard spawned, no ton warrior spawned. I started searching the posts for more specific /loc's and noticed a few posts mentioning the tunnel with the pok book in FV. So I went there and tracked for it, but nothing was showing. So I stood at the crossroads in the tunnel, dropped invis and took a shower. When I came back, the ton warrior was beating on me so I squished him and he dropped the totem for me.

Just got the Ton Warrior Totem off of the Krup Guard in the Froglok city (/l -678.00, -1655.27) Hope this helps, was just running around killing all the frogs I could find with my lvl 65 Warrior. GL

Confirmed, The Krup guards I found tend to spawn in the huts with three or four froggies in them, cleared em twice and started finding em. Third Krup Guard dropped what I needed, the totem.

This totem is the one that is made by combining the fragments dropped from the froglok ton warriors in The Swamp of No Hope with the mendglow clay in the potter's wheel.. there is a trivial and I dont know what it is under 136 for sure it lore info: Key of Dai.|-. the totem that is drop whole from the same mob is lore info: Key of Dai.|..
This totem dropped off a Froglok Ton Warrior that ran into me in the cave leading to the FV book.
Oddly enough, that's the only one I've ever killed because he jumped me while I was medding up.
Quite a surprise, but he was easy to take down, just a nuisance.

Me too, I was in the Froglok town and couldn't find a Froglok Ton Warrior, but got attacked by an Froglok Krup Guard and got one :-)

I just found one of these on a Froglok Krup guard in the little cave leading to Dugroz.

I found this item on 2 grup guards by a named froglok in swamp of no hope. Both had them. The grup guards are frogs in a tunnel. Found them by accident when I was doing Howling Stone key quest.
Correct, though the krup guards are no longer in that tunnel, nor is Dugroz, they both moved to Krup (the guards are in a building near the ramp, Dugroz is just north of Krup.) The new tenants of the aforementioned tunnel are two very nasty, level 55 black ravengers, who will agro if you ever get in the water! If you're going to Trakanon's Teeth by that method, hug the path by the wall of the tunnel, and you should be able to get by them without them agroing.
I was running for my little 42 ranger life from adds (red con froglok necro/sk aggroed me mid fight) and I used my map to find nearest zl. I fluked out... and hugged the wall on the way out. I made it with 13% hp. Only when I came back in zone did i notice the ravagers on track.

This Item is Dropped by Froglok Ton Warriors, which are a rare spawn that drops a whole Totem about 1 in 4 times, found in Swamp of No Hope, at Level 20 these guys Con red to me so get some help
