I just killed the Prophet while collecting belts & shoulderpads and he dropped "A Sealed Note". It is Lore and No Drop so was wondering if anyone knows what it's for.

Yes. The spellbook is NODROP.
Tergon Brenclog, located in the library, wants his spellbook back.
He gives you a sealed note to deliver to his brother Retlon in Freeport who was working with Master Dooly Jonkers.
Dooly tells you he's been kidnapped by the Orcs. When you find him, you give him the letter and get your faction changes, but he tells you the spellbook has been taken by the Prophet in Crushbone.
The spellbook can be found in Crushbone on one of the high level orcs, or sometimes on D'Vinn.
Returning the spellbook gives the following faction adjustments: +Eldritch Collective, - Dark Reflection, - The Dead, + Gem Choppers, + King AkAnon.
You also get experience and an item, usually a scroll.

He is in the caster guild in Ak`Anon. You must have very good Eldrith Collective faction, or be a gnome magician, in order for him to accept the book.

Crush bone in the Throne room up in the tower one of the spawns up ther drop it. It's not The emp.

I got it off the prophet in the tower where Crush and DVinn spawn. What's it for?

Interesting. I got it off a named caster in Efp. His name was Tergon. Imagine that P That was the first time I ever saw him. Anyone have any info?

This is a quest you get in akanon in the libray. The gnome tergon there wants his brothers spell book which retlon is supossed to have. you talk to retlon he says the prophets got it. Kill the prophet..get book...give it to tergon. haven't finshed this quest but it is for a spell i think
