Omens of WarI know where the boss spawns in a lvl 66 instance, but could not find him in a lvl 68+ instance. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

There are 4 possible spawn points for named. Only two are active in any instance of a Dranik's Hollow at once.
If he's not where he was last time, hes at the other spawn loaction!

Found in the level 67 instanced zones. At 68, we got a different line up of mobs. Still selling stong on Xev for over 100k.

saw 2 last night on FV for 50k, not a bad shield for that much =P

I just looted one of these babies on E'CI server (16Nov04) and was shocked when I saw the bazaar price of 150k.
Was in the big firepit room and came off the Cavescout guy (a noc warrior was PH).
FYI I ran there inviso and PH was not up at first. Looks like it IS on a timer from zone spawn. I'd say approx 20 mins.

Man, I think they nerfed this drop. Killed him like 7 times tonight and all of a sudden, he isn't dropping the shield anymore. And not one rune either. There is no motivation to level if the rune drop is so rare you can only dream of 66+ spells.

This dropped for my group on 11/06/2004 from the Kyv Cavescout along with a Minor Muramite Rune on the Tholuxe Paells server, so it does still drop.
I know we were just lucky since we had cleared the whole dungeon from beginning to end and were just about to quit the expedition and log. I decided to invis and run back through to see if any named were up. I found both the Dragnor Firekeeper (dropped some epaulets) and then the Cavescout. Oddly, our ranger did not see either of them on track. Are these, like so many of the epic 1.5 mobs, untrackable?
Our cleric won the roll for the shield. A very well deserved win. Gratz Dhalgren.

This shield has mana regen 3. This fact does not currently appear in the notes.

Actually, it does. It displays above on the right, under the "Additional Modifiers" heading.

The shield graphic looks just like the icon. It's just kinda annoying from a new expansion.
I do have to agree. These are just about the ugliest shields in the game, but for the stats and mana regen, it could look like a giant scab and I'd use it. Oh, wait, it does!
Got this from the instanced zone Firepit, dropped from named Kyv cavescout.

I know that Boots of Flowinf slime go for about 80k so it would only make sense that this would got for 100k+. Time will tell
