Shadows of Luclin
Been waiting a while to see this drop and 2 (two!!!) dropped at the same time.
For those asking, it’s a 35% slow. It is overridden by the enchanter/shaman slow, but stays on the mob with the level 64 Bard slow. I imagine that’d be useful on mobs with slow mitigation! Hard to test that though.

Killed this dude like 20 times now. Have never seen this item. Does he still drop this? And does this proc stack with Requiem of Time (lvl BRD slow)?

It is now a brass instrument with an 18 modifier, havn't figured that stuff out quite yet. Anywho, anyone have any idea if it stacks with other bard slows on the right clicky? 35% and 50% would be 85%. However I'm certain that it would not slow for that much with song, but another 10 or 15% might be nice.
As of today's patch they're adding a brass modifier to this... pity my lvl 52 bard will probably never even see Vex Thal!!!!
Ok, I've drug my eyes over this page for a minute or so...but I can't see weather this is a BRASS instrument or a WIND instrument. I will assume brass. Super nice if it is brass, but if it were wind, it would still be awesome. Range slot...wow.
BTW anyone know what energy sap does? Specifically I mean, no smart comments from the peanut gallery :)

If you've ever looked at a bard instrument in game you'll notice that it states on the description which instrument type it is... The description for this item does not list ANY instrument type, which means it's not an instrument.. It could possibly increase the effect of singing, but more than likely it's just a really really nice range item..

They just don't hammer grammar into student heads the way they used to. Not that I payed much attention to the hammer, but the fear factor did a decent job on my end.
