We used to do VT for fun there was no DPK cause all the stuff was junk by that point, I think it got it for free iirc
Does this stack with Dusty Girdle of Reformed Sand? That has 20% on DD spells and this has 26% so it could be possible that you can get 46% on your Fire Based dd spell.. can anyone plz confirm this ? Thanks ..

The focus effect doesn't stack with Improved Damage 4. That would be too nice ;) But if you use often fire based direct damage spells it gives you an advantage of 6% more damage:
ID4 20% more damage on all direct damage
FoF 26% more damage on fire based spells
ID4 20% more damage on all direct damage
FoF 26% more damage on fire based spells
This effect will however stack with bardsong.

I would argue that mage is better choice for this.
A small fraction of Druid dps ******* is Fire based Nukes (honestly my highest raiding char of all times was druid and even when soloing - DoT were my primary dps - nukes were msotly mana sinks)
And how many actual fire nukes does druid get? Like less than 10% out of dds and dots total.
The 15 wis- well umm by lev 60 (lev cap was 60 when VT was ultra hot) - 15 wis means nothing- you would be at stats cap anyway (even more so today)
now for mage - fire nukes make 65% of all his spells =)
now we talking justified usage.
PS. If you would be in my guild as a druid and spending your DPK on this ring during Vt raid- I would laugh and let you do it - I saved my points for Judgement gear =)

Any ranger out there know if the focus works with call of fire? This question is a long shot, but any ranger out there with Fervid gloves o' the warder know if the focus works with Cry of fire. Id like to check before i send a ton of DKP to get both items. I probably will anyways but it would be nice to know.

This ring is uber, ive been using it for about a week now and it kicks *** with the fbot spell for mages, 2.5k average. Only problem is that the aggro on it is nasty.
stats are terribly wrong on this....just got this today...
AC 15, str 5, dex 10, sta 5, wis 15, agi 10, hp 90, mana 90, focus effect focus of flame (26% fire nukes)

I'd be very happy to see this going to a paladin. It's yet another of those "good for any usable class" items, but it's very hard for melee to get high AC items in the ring slots. Add the bonus mana/hp and I'm sure any melee would be drooling over this (all those monks out there saying "but why can >I< wear it?"). The wis and massive fire save are just cake. While I'd be very happy to wear this myself, give it to someone that actualy needs it.

So? When they make items like this, they dont want it to be the kind of thing that you loot and shows up in auction or market channel the next day. This is for the guilds that have the capibility to get it only, nobody else.
