Lost Dungeons of Norrath
I just bought one last night, after earning about 103 points from 23 successes in Mistmoore Catacombs. I'm half-way through level 43 now.
I love it, love it, love it.
First of all, the drum graphic is huge, much larger than the Walrus Skin Drum that I was using. It's also a warmer color of wood with some nice gold too. It looks very impressive.
Second, the CHR and AC really add up, especially at this level. Helps with mezzing when I've discarded the wind instrument, we're in the middle of a fight, and we get an add anyway.
Finally, I don't have to juggle when I want to use Chant of Battle or Selo's or Katta's or any other drum-based song.

If this costs 100 adv points, anyone know how many of those have to come from the Mistmoore dungeons?
I have about 40 MM points already, but my friends seem to want to adventure in the Oasis dungeons now, and I really, really want to get this thing...

According to the newest update to Reed's Spreadsheet the VSD has a percussion mod of 2.3; same as the Walrus Skin Drum.

Bought it to test out, seems to have the same modifier as Walrus Skin Drums, they were both doing the same damage on my dots.

This drum is PRIMARY. Someone buy it. There are other drums for 30 AP, etc that are also PRIMARY. I think this might be a real good modifier. I dont know how long 100 AP will take for me to get it. Probably 3 months after it is useless I will.
