#REDACTED, Posted: Oct 12 2004 at 10:37 PM, Rating: Sub-Default, (Expand Post) This has to be the WORST LDoN tunic there is. My apoligizes to all monks on this one, usually dont care im a ranger, but this thing sucks sucks sucks for a monk. Terriable stats, sure 3 slots for augments but who the hell wants to farm more points after you just got the 1500 to get this. Wow SoE just didnt even try on this one, what a bunch of lazy worthless bastards, not even worth the effort.

I would much rather get this then the 760Ap one in BB. The problem is getting ppl to go do Deepest guk adv.'s as most ppl on a none pvp server don't have there resists up high enough and don't like getting nuked for 2+k by the wizzy's in deepest guk.
IMO: This is better all around. Better HP's Mana stats and resist. All the things I work my butt off for trying to raise. Once I get this though I dought I will go back to Deep Guk.
Plus once this shows as buyable in the merchant window you won't have to come back to Deep guk. So to me it is worth getting thoughs adv out of the way...

Slot Types

I haven't actually seen one of these in game yet and I've seen 2 different screen shots of these. The one here shows two of the Type 2 slots and one Type 3. The one on Lucy shows a Type 1, a Type 2, and a Type 3. Anyone know with absolute certainty if this has been changed and which of these is correct?

This is the link to the one on Lucy:

this to ornate
# Apr 29 2004 at 7:34 PM Rating: Decent
Honestly I have my ornate tunick for my druid so im in a twist trying to decide weather of not its worth getting this. I like the fact taht it has 3 aug slots but ornate has effects that i think are more valeuable then a 2 more augs could do. If anyone has any oppinions plz share. i plan to get only a few peice's of this for the FT slot 3 augs.

This is much better.
You can put Regen V on the slot 3.

AP bought augs in the 663 range. (or close to that) can go on ANY slot.

I'm gonna put a +8 sta/+8 agi in the type one slot. and a Type 2 aug +4 sta/+8 dex/+8 agi aug in the type two slot. ubah.

If resists are your thing. Both these augs are any slot capable:

+5 cold/mag/fire
+8 disease/poison.

Both the resist augs are 663ap in differnt camps
BL poop.

soooooo not worth 1492AP for a BL... the 760ap or whatever one is just about as good, and half the price...

Well, I suppose it depends on how much patience you have, and whether you plan on maxing out your adventurer's stone eventually; in which case you'll have plenty of points to spend eventually.

Personally, I think the 1492 is by far superior. It has 13 Sta (which the 760 tunic does not) 25 more hp/mana, and resists to DR and PR - the harder resists to come by - while the other tunic is lacking any PR. Throw in 2 extra AC just to sweeten it up.

Now, if you don't ever see yourself getting 1492 points in Guk, I can understand settling for the lesser tunic. I am more inclined to spend my points on the best available, rather than cashing in for the mediocre, but more easily attainable item; especially when your gear has reach the point when you're trying to eek out every extra advantage you can.

I'd have to disagree with your assessment. First, this also has 8 more stamina, meaning an over 100hp advantage over Elysians.

Second, while this has -4 total saves compared to Elysians, it has bigger bumps to Disease and poison, the ones I have found toughest to traise over 100.

Third, -5 wis is almost not worth discussing. My 55 druid has 255 wis UNBUFFED, and with either a charisma stein, or a no wis weapon in primary. Would be 260 wis, if I were not capped, so I could equip this with no loass of usable wis. Plus I never go anywhere without KEI, so it'll be a long time before the wis matters, and even then its not that big a deal.

NOTE: this also has 11 charisma, which is nice for charming.

The BIG difference is: 2 type 2 slots, and 1 type 3 slot. Type 3 slot=FT2. Type 2 slots can then be used to add more resists, wis, sta or whatever you want to this. This tunic OWNS elysians.

Lastly, the comparison to that other BP is meaningless, as this has more mana and HP, and that one is for chain classes. You could compare that one to tae ew tunic, and make the same arguments you make here.

100% agree with you. Elysan simply crap compared to this and its AUG opportunities. My druid has both Tunic and Legs and FT2 AUG in each

Sad that leather classes have to wear snot covered clothing...
RE: name
# Oct 10 2003 at 10:54 AM Rating: Good
Yes, plate wearers are royal attendants, chain classes are incorporeal/spiritual, silk wearers are bloody immortal, and leather classes are drenched with snot.

That would summarize SOE's opinion of classes as of LDoN. Sorry druids and beastlords, think we monks dragged you into that one...

And what's with +11 charisma on a tunic drenched with snot?

ROFL...OMG...Bile is the term used to refer to the mucus lining of the upper digestive track, including stomach, it is possible to vomit bile, so yes, he is correct in his post and no, this isnt' doo doo, you are thinking of bowel...LMAO...I just had to respond, flame me, I don't care...
RE: name
# Aug 04 2004 at 8:03 AM Rating: Decent
Coming from a heavy medical background, I always thought bile was a yellow, brown or green fluid produced by the liver, which is stored in the gall bladder that aids in digestion by breaking down fats into fatty acids which can be absorbed by the digestive tract. Also many waste products are elimintated from the body by being secreted in bile. Gastric mucosa is the term used for the mucous lining of the stomach.

As far as EQ goes, I would much rather have the Mucus-Drenched items over much of the ornate, as I can customize it to my personal playing style. (An exception might be the Boots of the Khati Sha. Cheap for FT3, and you can still throw an aug in there.)

Actually you can vomit up bile, I have done so once when I dehydrated on an Army Physical Fitness Test, wasn't pretty, looked like **** coming out of my mouth.
