The picture shows correctly that WT:0.5. The description at the top incorrectly states weight is 1.0. So the item is not so heavy for monks !

Sure look nice for all 3 classes to me:
Monks; not ultra low weight but low. Relatively high AC and HP's for commonly available boots. Mana isn't a negative for a monk it doesn't need to be considered. Always looking for saves. If using a procing weapon Dex is good. (going to omit cha and intim.). Compare number of boots available pre LDoN and prices these are a super addition to the line up, and a great value at present prices. (Comparison; Kingly, Striped Raptor, Great Bear, Battered, Seafarer)
Druid; Very nice AC and high HP's don;t need em when soloing but sure luv them for groups and raids. Poison and Disease are toughest saves to get up. After 200 wis and level 49 I would much rather have these than GEB's, everything about them is equal or better depending on level. Cha always good for times of charming. (Comparision; GEB's, Coldain, Chokidai Hide, Velvet Lined, Crystal Chitin, Tunare Soldier)
Beast; seems to be less of a mis-debate/mis-agreement on this class.
Over all these compete quite well, oft times coming in at number two or three with boots priced 2 to 8 times as much.

I really wish they would stop grouping Monks, Druids and Beastlords together on items, because of the different restrictions and needs of those classes (Monk's weight limit/don't need Wis and mana, Druid's need for Wis and mana, Beastlord's lack of weight limit and need for more AC items) you end up with an item that none of the three will wear.

could not have said it better myself!

These types of items are perfect for Beastlords since all of the stats are good for them; besides charisma of course other than for buying and selling.

The statement "Beastlord's lack of weight limit and need for more AC items" may be true, but AC is obviously not all a Beastlord needs or should try to get. The wis, mana, health and dex this item has are all good for a Beastlord as well... these item types might not be used as often by a Monk or Druid, but they are pretty nice for Beastlords.

They do that because it can be worn by leather armor classes. One can assume that even though all can wear it, one class will benefit more because of the stats and the others wouldn't want it.

Do you all realize that you can add an augment to this? Custom design this for you race. Hmmmmm... kinda adds a new thought pattern to it doesn't it.... Expand your minds as this new expantion allows.

Who wears this?

I can't see anyone level 60 wearing this. Druids will most likely be wearing Golden Efreeti Boots and Beastlords/Monks will most likely be wearing Barbed Dragonhide Boots at the least, both are pretty cheap and/or easy to obtain. Especially with the ability to augment these items now, I doubt anyone would wear these sandals. /shrug
