lol its odd, ever since i saw this a few years back its been my dream to own one of these... been working at it - lvl 55 and almost EP flagged anyways hoping to get it soon.. but anyways this is a GREAT weapon imo even though its PoP the proc is.. nice

Won it earlier this morning and it's quite the aggro taker. I also won a Shinai to go with it, so I use it in off-hand and it doesn't proc AS much but it definately gets the mob attention when it does. <3 the weapon though, great DPS
i want one to combo with my eoe when i play dps /grin

Done 5 time raids with guild and fugger hasn't droped yet. I think its Rare not common. Or if this we was once common its now either rare or it no longer drops.
No it drops, its just rare as hell. I've also done 5 time raids now and have yet to see one drop. I would really love one for offtanking / dps or just playing dps in a all warrior ldon group rofl.
make that 8 now. doing time today will let you know rofl.

My Bard has been using this, I love it - more DPS equipped mainhand than a 20/20 blade with WA5 and SCF3 - reason being we have less offensive melee ability inately than other classes, plus less aa's to enhance it - so the proc helps make up for it. Only other class I would bother getting it for is warrior *maybe* for offhand. The other classes that can use can get fairly common 1 handers that have a LOT more dps than this.

i play a lvl 65 beast lord on saryrn that has been weilding this weapon for a few months now, i also have a soa (vallon hth drop ) the ethereal destroyer is a devistating weapon i have not been resisted on it yet. i have had some of the gates of discord mobs use a reflect ds that cuases them to only take 325 pts damage though. I have found that placing the ethereal destroyer in the primary hands with spell crit 3 and weapon affinty five can allow me to take aggro from most plate tanks unless they are activly taunting the mob, thankfully i have the hit points to survive these instances most of the time

Yeah, this post has nothing to do with that title.
I just picked this up last night. As a 65 Monk with Weapon Affinity 5 and Ingenuity it's very respectable DPS with the proc being included. My first experimental mob was Tallon Zek in Plane of Time and he didn't resist a single proc out of 18. 9 of which were crits for 1500.
I'm usually using a Fiery Staff of Zha so I'm not up-to-date on really great 1-handers. So my combo last night was the Ethereal Destroyer in main hand and Stone Etched Mallet in secondary. Between the two on the Supernatural Guardian, I was parsing 145dps on a mob with higher than usual AC and that's not including procs. So I wasn't horribly disappointed with that.
The biggest downfall is the -15% proc mod. Weapon Affinity, however, seems to overcome that, completely. So far, from fighting in Crypt of Decay for a little bit, fighting in Sol Ro's tower for a little bit and then doing a hard EF LDoN, I have not once been resisted and seem to proc with regularity. So far, I absolutely love the weapon.

I picked this up a while back also, and can attest that while the dps is streaky, its very nice when it does proc. It's also quite useful for high AC mobs that aren't proc immune.
I have a hard time deciding between mainhanding ED or JoS. The melee dps of jos is just insane compared to the ED, but with ED+flaming blade aug, it seems pretty close.. just inconsistent is the problem.

This has a -15% lowered chance to proc under the default proc rate of weapons (according to unknown070 value).

150 dmg procs...um yeah. It should be a little under the regular...so if it procs 2 times instead of a usual 4...thats 1500dmg...or in other words..20 75dmg procs or 10 150dmg procs...ya...slap on the EC proc...an let the dps fly..

Well I have my Dex at 415 (shaman buffed), plus Combat Effects +10
WA5, SCF maxed, and I get ALLOT of 1500DD (crits) procs.
This weapon is much better than what it is listed as because of the killer proc which is ideal for a Beast.

so does it work or not cus if it does work i guess that it would be 1 of the best weps for a war out there
This weapon is incredible incredible DPS, especially considering anyone who equips it is likely to have 305 dexterity, they will be proccing at an insane rate. 750 damage... just incredible.
The only problem, however, is the resist check modifier, which lies at a dissapointing -50. This means that even basic PoP exp mobs will have a chance of resisting this proc, and named mobs in PoP will be far worse, many being very very resistant to magic. Without the proc This weapon is outdone (damage wise) by weapons many levels below it. So any wielder would have to do his homework and find out how MR his punching bag is and swap out this weapon accordingly.

I was about to comment about how the ratio seemed a little low considering it's PoT loot... then I looked at the proc.
