I know as a 52nd level Paladin I have a few slots that are lagging behind the others at my high of a level, so maybe these silly items are made to fill the gaps for who went cheap on their Gloves items like Iksar Scaled n' such. EVERY drop in the zone can't be ubah. :-) And I've noticed that some of the newer Recommended Levels don't hurt the lower levels wearing them nearly as much. Who knows.
These ARE atrocious, for a recommended level of 46.

Who the heck, except MAYBE an underequipped monk or BL would wear these at lvl 46 or near there.

Have to agree there. I think SOE got a little carried away with the Recommended Levels in Droga and Nurga. Many seem to be "atrociously" high.
