Remember that if your race cannot where a particular type of armor (plate, chain, leather cloth) any armor with that graphic will show up as if you are not wearing anything in that slot, or just dies that slot a slightly different colour. Erudites have no chain classes and chain shows up as cloth on them, High elves have no leather nor chain classes (I think) so if this has one of those graphics a High elf will show up with just the basic "no shoes" graphic for a high elf). This is why my Erudite Shadowknight looks like he is wearing a green skirt (chain graphic leggings)
If don't like the loot, you can always go to BoT. Then you can kill lvl 64 named mobs all day that rarely drop anything at all. I find this zone a refreshing break from the planes. At least you get some plats for each nasty green guy you kill, as well as some of that wonderful sarnak faction.
Would I use these boots? No, but I totally agree with TukkaYoot and would give them to a friend or guildie.
You kidding me right VI? This drops off a L58 mob?
So what? Yes, it's not likely to be used by anybody actually hunting the area, but you can still put up for sale in the bazaar and probably get a few hundred platinum out of it, or pass it along to a lower level guildmate. I can think of less impressive items dropped off level 58ish mobs.
And considering this apparently a common drop, and that the mobs are pretty easy compared to like-level Luclin/PoP mobs, and that the zone itself is rather accessible, and straight platinum drops off the goblins, I don't see a whole lot to complain about. Not every drop can be uber.
