Same loc that I've used several times. Same procedure as Skyfire.
took about 10 minutes of camping, got like 9 ph's but they respawn faster than 1 minute. After spending 13 hours in skyfire, it was an absolute dream.

Thanks alot for posting this, its spot on.
The named wurm spawns at (-450, -2550) and wanders. It has PHs which are normal "wurms" and the harder types of skeletons, bees and giants. These will all be dark blue to a 53 ranger.
To start the spawning, kill random higher level roaming mobs until you see a spawn right at the loc -450, -2550, then simply stay put and keep killing the spawns (and the odd aggroing roamers that pass by). Eventually you will spawn the named wurm. The respawn time is fairly quick (about 1 minute).
The wurm can also drop Burning Embers for Magician epic, and both that and this Red Wurm Gut are MQable.
I camped this with alts getting exp, 3-boxing 53 ranger, 53 cleric and 51 magician, trying for Dark Embers. Got the guts though, so going to level my bard sometime :)

lvl 60 druid and i dropped him last night. Except for the summoning, he is a pretty easy kill. Resisted nothing i cast on him. Rooted and snared, just nuke and back away when summoned.
He only summons if he's level 51. He also sees invis at this level, so an easy way to check is to invis and con him. I got a non-seeing version, and it never summoned or gated.
