The necro that dropped it was a triggered spawn from the Qeynos Badge of Honor quest.

i got the same thing off the spawned necromancer off the badge of honor quest also... strange maybe its a part for another badge quest?
btw mines for trade or sale on tribunal for you collectors :)
I've spent some time in QCat and couldn't find neither sepsis rats, nor this necromancer anywhere in the zone. The spawn cycle around the temple includes large rats, giant rats, fire beetles, cubes, beggars, but nothing special.
I suppose this spawn was removed along with the Karana plague ... anyone know anything for sure?

yes it does but it is riggered by the Qeynos badge of honor quest.

What a coincidence, I am ALSO a robe collector though I am only a level 35 Enchanter. I want to try and camp this fellow as I KNOW I will never be able to afford an SMR. (And I am terribly jealous of your collection, I have only 9 robes and three of those are senior apprentices robes in blue, yellow, and purple. :P) Send me a tell if you are on Cazic Thule and we will camp it. Or if anyone has any suggestions on where the Necromancer spawns or how to get this robe, I would appreciate them.

So far I have 14 robes, including my planar robe
and most common robes.
I would like to add this robe to my reportoir.

Where does the necromancer spawn?
this robe looks like an SMR, it's rare, and you can tell if they're wearing it. They either drop Damask stuff or this.
Spectre's rare drop is a 8/23 dagger
and the Sentry's rare is a 17/40 Proc Heat Blood SK Sword.

Well, i dont know about everyone else, but ive personaly run into this darn guy 3 times in the aqueducts, and i always seem to catch him near the shady merchant, but be advised, he always has a pet, and there always seems to be "a rotting guardian" near him at all times. killed my 21 mage in 3 hits. very nasty mother
he is spawned by quenos badge of honor quest along with guard helmith who turns to corrupt guard helmith while doing the quest some1 died trying to kill corrput guard and the necro and rotting sentry spawns stayed there from the quest :)

This thing must have 10 layers or something...for a robe to weigh more or as much as most metal chest slot items is outrageous. Last time I checked, satin was pretty light in weight.

How is this listed as a 30 lvl item if the crit you gotta kill is listed as 34th? is he really 34th lvl crit?
because, level 30 is the minimum level to get it.. not the easiest level, or the minimum level to SOLO it. A level 30 in a group of level 30s could easily handle it.
