This scimitar is used for a druid weapon quest

At the level you'd have to be to get this scimitar you should have completed your epic. Since so many other weapons on the Efreeti are for various quests it stands to reason that this item may be a part of some Druid quest. Until a quest is found to make some good use of this scimitar, it isn't worth much.
There are only two prices listed for this item at this time. One person has decided that it is worth 1500pp. I doubt they have ever had the item to attempt a sale. I wouldn't pay more that 500pp. And then it would only be a twink item.

how can this also be for monks when we can't use 1hs?
look at that weight. definitely a monk weapon.
Getting one for my druid as a 1hs alternative to my Centi Warhammer (looking for melee stuff).

its a quest item, I would pay it please look at the result of handing this in with other items

I got one and gave it to my monk... guess what?!?!?! it says clearly on the weap that yes MNKs can but can they noooooo "you class, race, or diety may not equip this item" =( kinda like orc pawn picks being equiped by magic folk. >=(
