LOL, I can't believe anyone would say that this BP is inadequate or worthless. For a BP that is dropable, and a RANGER bp no less, this is incredible.
And anyone who is unimpressed by the port must not play a melee class. Oh my goodness, when I walk by, everyone turns around and looks at the Tolan BP, LOL. If they gripe and moan they're just dripping with envy, LOL.

The other day I decided to explore the Plane of Growth... But in my eagerness to meet Tunare I didn't think about the potential that as a Plane it might not have an exit, heh.
Thank goodness for my Tolan's BP or I'd have had a heck of a time getting a TP out of there. ^_^

Yip and to all those ppl who are saying what a useless effect, grow up and go to places with the one way exit or the other side of the dungeon. And besides i would love it just for the stats and look :)

Yea a self port spell isnt that great, but under certain conditions its great.
Supposing you got stuck on a plane....
Your soloing and you get trained...
You only want a 1 way boat...
You want to beat on an orc centurion...
Dont forget the stats are great!! Its worth it for those alone

As the other fighters Invigorate themselves and heal the ranger can use this proc to port away to a useless place. Wow I pity anyone who chose to play a ranger, i cant believe i almost did.

Next time your warrior is looking for a nice AC buff, regen, awesome attk buffs, sow, lev, heals, to be saved by a mob that is chasing him, you call my ranger and I'll think about it.
As a ranger, I've saved more asses than I can count. I take on mobs solo that warriors could not even attempt, and this is PRE trueshot. I farm items that have brought me tons of money, and can solo XP into my 60s as long as the mob does not summon.
My favorite is when you warriors ask me to invis you to get thru fungus grove . . . or to help you track something that you would be searching the zone for days to find.
Adding this BP to my collection would make my class 2x as good. I would be able to travel to luclin within a matter of 15 mins MAX from ANY location without the aid of a druid OR wizard.
Jeez, my bags are all filled with gems from the guard camp. What's a ranger to do? I'll tell you, CLICK. Ahh, Im home where the vendors like me now and I can sell my gear, and within one poof from one of the wizards that might be happening thru, I'm golden on my location.
Please sir, buy a clue, then continue to speak. Rangers are slowly becoming a very popular class. I know at least 9 people that I Can think of off hand who have started ranger alts and absolutely love the versatility they provide.

I would say that this is one of the worst posts i´ve ever seen, if you ever get a toon to lvl 50 or higher you should now by then that a ranger outdamages warriors easily. Only monks outdamage rangers in straight melee at higher lvls.

Dude, i can cast invigor on myself and heal myself. things which a warrior dreams of, but to be able to at least port to 1 place with out asking or waiting is well worth it to me.. A RANGER.. and i love it.. sooo if your not a ranger you still really have little business posting on a piece of ranger only gear.. =)
god is that guy stpd. You don't have a clue on how to play one either. Nor do you know how sweet this thing is. Its a direct port to the guild master. And its not a grp tp thing READ ring=u only CIRCLE=GRP!

Is it possible for a ranger with helm of the tracker, and the Full set of forest stlker's armor to reach 1000 ac, even wiht 200 defense?

its quite easy. i have a 54ranger and self buff to 1018ac and dont have one single peice of quest or planes armor. a ranger wearign full forest stalker would break 1000 very easily
it is go do some math with the forest stalkers

I was talking to a guy at the bank who had one of these, he said it's a self port to Lesser Faydark. That makes sense, there is a Ranger camp there.

Is the effect on this BP the same as the wizard spell, or is it to the ruins in the Kelethin newbie zone?

from what i heard when it frist cam out it was the unused druid ring in the newbie area, wich is one of the reasons why everyone was yelling that it was a fake. one, because it was a tank bp with a gate/tp spell, and two cause druids didnt even port there. people were like, if druids cant prot there and the are the parent class, then why whould a ranger get it so it must be fake. this was supported by the fact that soon after Kunark came out there was a screenshot of a bp from VP of a War bp with Gate on it. when people brought this p on the offical EQ boards VI said it was a fake and there was nothing in the game like that at that time. they also said that if they did put a gate/tp spell on a fighter class bp that they whould make it drop at a rate of about once a year on each sever. so who knows mabye that fake pic gave Vi the idea to put this spell onto the ranger bp. with all that said from VI, as a ranger i wont be holding my breath while waithing to get mine, think i might be in for one hell of a wait, even if it does drop more then once a year :-)

But Faydwer is the LARGEST selling zone in Tallon Zek, so basically its an easier way to go shopping.

Think of what the cast time must be, thought. I don't think it would really help to get to Lesser Fay to find that you got to run a long way to get back to fear. This would be nice if it was actually near a plane.

Would be nice to be able to get from, say Seb, to GFaymart without pleading my life for a TP. Or walking my *** for an age to get to DL for a pickup (not many people will run to KC and evac to pick you up - Gorenaire eats too many of my friendly wizzies).

Heh, I don't think hate raids have gone out of Gfay since hate has existed on Tunare. =p S Ro is a far better location:
No trade spam, and two circles for the two porting classes in the same zone, in fact, like 300 feet from each other, thus making it very easy to travel to the raid, and last, no one is KOS there. That is why S Ro is the finest place to head up. Though, I'm curious, which servers use Gfay?

On Bristlebane, PoH raids always leave from Nek. EC is the major trading zone.

Well, on the Tribunal Hate raids are usually out of Gfay since melees can bind there, so if there is a wipeout, there is some order to things.
