I hunted the Revenants for the lucid shard(Set) and got it.
However, a short time later, another shard dropped from a sunflower. So, they're not exclusive to just the revenants.

All Lucid Shards were changed to a zonewide drop. No longer limited to sun skelies.

Went with a guildmate to Scarlet Desert and atleast 6 dropped within like half hour. Don't know what was going.

703, -999 Big Circle in the zone
I hunted the Sun Revenants and Sun Reavers at level 62 for my VT key shard. I killed the ones that are found in and around the ruins on the plateau.
They all conned light blue and were very easy to kill solo. I never went below 90% health and was able to chain pull them one after the other. They were all single pullable at lvl 62.
All I used was slow and weaken, then tanked, with my Warder at my side.
I got lucky and had a shard drop on the 9 or 10 kill.
Was a very easy camp to do...

Got mine off Sun Rev to East of plateau.
Got my shard on first kill. Go to the top of the platue(sp) Easy green lb mobs. Came back with Pally friend to get him his shard, had to clear once then on second re-pop he got his. Good Luck

Anyone have a Loc on them?
Hunted these for 2 hours on the hill. Nothing. Did this three times so far.
As off the 31/03/04 drop rate seems to be around every 3rd cycle of cleaning shop up on the hill. This can vary but got one on the 3rd cycle then didn't see one for almost 5 clean wipes of "sun" anything in zone. So as always its almost completely random drop rate. Not the hardest to get but just like others takes time and patience.

I think the best bet is to do the revs on the plateau. They are higher level up there, spawn more often, and you can get a few pieces up there to sell. Actually got mine off the one rev I couldn't get to all day...just my luck.

Yeah, I spent three hours last night killing the revenants for XP and got three shard drops (and some nice items for my low-level alts). So you shouldn't expect to need much more than an hour to get one.
