Legacy of YkeshaI might say, this quest took me a looooooong time. I figured any charm would be better than none but after the hours and hours, I was quite frustrated.
We did the tunnels first, which wasn't bad but took forever, although eventually we got the two drops there for 3 different characters. The first few visits to the windscorn landed one insignia there so I moved on to finish the quest for the character with the 3 insignias.....well, it took forever. I prolly killed 100+ Guardians without seeing anything. Finally, after another unsuccessful night, I logged and my bro went after them and Boom, two insignias in 10 minutes.
I was just glad to have the quest done. I was really starting to go crazy on all the time I spent in Dulak. Although the loot was decent, a lot of gems.
Do this quest if you have nothing better to do. I mean that. Or if you are low enough to get decent exp on the mobs. Otherwise spend time leveling or doing AAs and you’ll end up farther along in the long run.

I have been killing the Bucc on the dock, but have not sen an insignia of suffering. I am wondering if this drops off the Bucc on the deck, or just off the buccs on the boat. Please give me some insight into this. I am 2 boxing a 56 ranger and a 51 enchanter; can I manage to camp on the boat and kill buccs? I have not tried this yet, but am going to give it a shot tonight. It sounds like there may be an ares to do this from. thx
I have also killed the Windscorn Buccaneer on the dock, about 25 times, and no insignia from him yet... He spawns again 15 minutes following his death, so it takes a LOOONG time to kill him 25 times. Has anyone had this guy drop an Insignia of Suffering? I have been killing Guardians in between dock Buccaneers, and no insignia from them yet either. Maybe it's time to try the tunnels for the two emissaries.

Two dropped for my group today in the space of two hours. We had a full group with an average of about 55 so we were making short work of everything. We may of just been lucky but after reading all the posts on how rare it seems to be I wanted to give those looking this quest up some hope.
Hunted for a few hours on the Windscorn but this never dropped. Must be verrrry rare.
I camped for the insignia of suffering. Used the back deck as a campsite. I probably killed about 80 to 100 of the bucs/initiates. Finally dropped off one of the bucs that spawned on the main deck.
It's a long camp, but a fair amount of loot droped. I had a 45 druid there to heal, and she made level, so both of us were pretty happy about the 4 or 5 hours it took.
Intersting side note, this is one of the few places to get Iksar Blood, which our guild smithy can turn into some pretty nice armor. Save it all.

Have made 8 trips to the boat and killed about 200 buccaneers with my group. Does this insignia every drop? any hints would be helpful.
