This is a world drop, meaning it can drop of any mob in the given range, well except maybe animal type mobs. I've had detachement drop in Guk as well as in SKarana. This goes for most words you will need now or later. Lvl of spell <=> mob lvl that will drop words for it, give of take a few lvls.

Hi,
I've been looking for Words of Detachment and Words of Allure for a couple of days now. I went to the Swamp of No Hope and tracked undead until I got an Icebone at loc -2200 pos 630 (middle south of the zone). I killed the Icebone skeleton (cons blue to me at level 25) and it dropped a Heart of Ice as well as Words of Detachment. I camped the undead tower near the windmill in Lake of Ill Omen for several hours and did not get any drops--although I got a ton of bone chips!

Two copies of Detachment have dropped in the last two hours off of the West Commonland Shadow Men.
I've Been camping these in Icebone for a while now, Killed 43 and 8 Mammoths and Still no Drop Only a Words of Cazic Thule. WHERE DO FIND THE SKELE IN SoNH?!?!?!?

these dropped off one of the ghouls that spawns in the magus room on 8/22/05. not sure if it was "a ghoul", "a carrion ghoul", or "a crazed ghoul". had all 3 spawn while i was there and lost track.

Well after killing around 500 sarnak recruits I finally got my words of Detachment. I would say they are pretty rare? Wouldn't you?

I did not have any luck finding these words in the tunnels leading up to Dalnir's Crypt; it was not for a lack of trying.
I was in the WW tunnels from levels 22-29 and I did not find a single copy of Words of Detachment.
However, on Erollisi Island I have found three copies, as well as five copies of Words of Sentient (Beza).

I'm always skeptical about these itmes that can drop anywhere, so naturally I was reluctant to run all the way to the caves leading to Dalnir. Ran there anyways with my main (58 war) and cleared them out, 6 spawns and one roamer. 18 minute spawn time, was bored to tears, stayed for 3 spawns and got no words. Then I had to log, so I camped right there. Later that day logged back in, got these words on 2nd kill! Woot Lucky me I have a very good friend, 65 necro with 200 research. So anyways the moral of the story is: Yeah they do drop from the brutes, so go there =)

I'm leveling my Necro in Warsliks Woods by soloing the "Skulking Brutes" in the tunnels leading to Dalnirs.
Five times now I have found these words on a Brutes corpse. They have also dropped Sentient(Azea)!

at lvl 30 i decided to hunt the dwarves on sister isle after killing about 10 cycles of them i got Detachment, allure and another word not related to the haunting corpse spell....they are on a 5 minute spawn and there are 3 of them on the island. only faction lowered is KaladimCitizen and its a very slight reduction they are blue at 30 and are easily fear kited you could prolly do them at around 25 so good luck and happy hunting

ive been hunting the shadow men in WC and in SK after maybe 150 kills in WC i got all the words except detachment for the 24th pet. when i went to SK i killed maybe 24 and i kept auction to buy em for 25p and someone gave me tell i was amazed someone had em...i tried bazaar everytime i was there nothing. just a little tip for ya, if it even helps.

I've looted them off shadowmen and I've found them on vendors in Lake of Ill Omen and Jagged Pine Forest. Don't expect those vendors to sell them everytime, as it always depends on if a player sold them.

I've been looking for this for four days...Someone PLEASE HELP! Not selling in bazaar, and so far, not dropping!
I looted one off a grinning gargoyle in Castle Mistmoore the other night. The zone was empty and the gargoyle was a fresh spawn, so no one gave it to him.
