I've killed him wiht a partner 4-5 times and no drops now. Best thing IMO if you're on the cyle is to snare this guy and drag him to the goblins and let them kill him and keep going :)

Helped a high level druid kill him (i healed) and he let me loot. Dropped essence of rathe (mage research component) but nothing else. Near the zone to OT.

Doesnt't always drop veil

Killed him today. Blue to 55 mage. 2 Scirrocos and the pet took him down without much trouble. Most of the dmg from my spells was not resisted.
He dropped nothing..just some pp....So the veil does Not Always drop..fyi.

I had just finished taking down Grand B. Cenobite (got the belt!)..when he comes strolling by. Threw the fireshield back up on pet and away I went. Was in NW area of zone.

where does he pop?

Lots of Giants and other wandering mobs in this area. Not the best of spots for a fight. Best in a group to get this puppy unless you are Very high level. Some one to snare or root is esential. Not only to help control fight but also the adds. Now that FM has a spot all can be binded in, I recomend you do so. Even as a level 52 druid I have almost been killed several times in this area, just from trying to control the adds. Safe paths and good fortune to you.
