I've been collecting Ornate molds and Master's Dreadguard gear and Master's Symbol's to have ready for my Cleric when he hits 55.
So far it is Master's for Chest, Legs and Head. It is Ornate for Wrists (1 or 2, not sure yet). I'm still deciding on Arms and Boots. Should I go with Ornate for the Mana Preservation IV and Healing IV or go with the stats and extra aug slot with the Master's gear?
You mean my post that said that allakhazams had no effect listed at the time, and if they had no effect they were kind of weak?
Or did you mean the post where I commented after the effect was added, that I was considering getting them?
Or did you mean the post where I said I HAD gotten them and was pleased with them?
Not sure where you ever got the idea that I said Mana Pres IV isn't a good effect.
And allow me to point out that YOU were the one who started flaming people. If you cannot take the heat, don't start the flames, especially when you are way off base.
Xaanru, I have come to the conclusion that you are an absolute MORON! Effect MANA PRES IV!!! Every 10th CH for free. What other effect do you want????? Look at the complete stats and effects before you start spouting garbage. Also, just go ahead and keep considering, you are the type Cleric that noone wants in their group cause ya let them all get wiped while shouting OOM.
Most likely, her name is a typo. She probably meant Pothead.
I assume she read my first post, without bothering to read the rest. Or at least part of the first post, but not up to the part where I said the effect had not yet been listed here.
Anyhow, gotta love people who go flaming others, without bothering to read what they said. Thanks for calling her on it.

Well, you're wrong on the part about getting level 46 and you have it. Without the flags for teir 3 (BoT, HoH etc) you cannot get the items to make this until 55.
Plus, even at 55, you'll be paying somewhere around 50k for the mold, if your server is like rodcet nife. No thats not 176k, but its still not cheap.
Prices vary by server. When I posted that message, they were running about 50kish on rodcet nife. I had personally picked a mold up for 40k, and have since seen as low as 35k.

I have them, and am very happy with them. With my current aa's, my wis is capped at 290 anyway, and I am working on my archetype and class healing aas, before I go for raising my wis cap, which would have to go up 20 or 30 points before I needed to worry anyway.
So the stats are just fine, and the effect is fantastic. I am a casual player, and my guild doesn't raid places like VT, so your necklace isn't an option. These were. Not too bad for something you can buy with the plat from selling drops from a few normal difficulty LDONs.
Edit: I just looked at your magelo. these would be an upgrade for you.
after the patch you don't have to have any flags you only have to be lvl 55 and have the mold, the sheets, the tanaan hammer, and 500 pp and you can wear all ornate armor.
Bah, its only a name. These boot would be nice for the AC value, and the Stats, but since I am wearing Golden Efreeti Boots now, I won't hem and haw about some stats on boots. (Lucky Level 4 Cleric, had a 55 Shaman quit EQ and dump everything on me.)
Well actually, for this set of armor, the stats listed here are kind of weak. Since it doesn't show what effect these boots have, I can't say for certain, but these aren't up to par with the rest of the set.
My 53 cleric currently wears Luminant heraldic boots: +30 AC +5 Dex +5 Wis +30 HP +30 Mana +3.00 Wt
As you can see, they are not as good as these. However, these require a mold from a teir 3 pop plane, and the only improvment in stats is:
15 more hp, 10 more mana +5 to 3 resists, and +3 to agi and sta.
Also, they have 2 less ac, and 2 less dex.
While they would be an upgrade from mine, for the resists, the improvment seems rather minor, considering the difference in difficulty to obtain.
Of course, if there is an effect, and its not summon water, or something stupid like that, then these might be worth the trouble.
Cultural is generally on par with velious armor, ornate armor is only slightly better on average. However this particular item bears a lot of interest because of the mana preservation 4 effect...i.e., spells don't cost as much.
Actually most priests that I know of derive their powers from the gods. The same one's we are killing in PoP. Therefore the cleric quest armor has quite a fitting name.
