So, this is used in the same way stat food is used? Just have it in an open inventory slot and you get 10CR and 10mana? If that's true, COOL! I find that kinda hard to believe though. Anyone know for sure?

It does not work that way - you have to wear it for the bonus. I tested to confirm, too.:)
