Any info on why this piece of garbage is worth so much? Oviously a quest item (better be) buuut what quest?
Its not worth that much. Some person with "issues" probably posted a ridiculous price, in an attempt to be funny. It would appear that Allakhazam has removed thoat price since your post, as the pricing data i saw was 10 to 100pp.
There is a link for bad prices on every item page. When you run across the work of those people with "issues" click that link and report the price. Remember all price data is member reported, not Allakhazam generated.

3 and 1/2 years later and it still says 100k LOL.... this is one of my favorite items I carry it all the time for fun little links :))

Vah shir kerrans and the kittys in stoneburmt have 3 diffrent factions, the kitties in stoneburnt are peacekeepers or something like that. and the kerrans on isle have there own faction vah shir have the var shal faction :p hope that helps
The faction he's probably refering to is with the Vah Shir on Luclin, in the new expansion Shadows of Luclin. i'd hunt there too, however i as well do not wish to be KoS to the Cat people.
Even if the faction turns out to be unrelated, the way i see it is why take the chance?

Actual the faction hit is to the kitties called Kerrans( like the ones on Kerran Isle, duh) and not to Vah Shir, so kill with pleasure!
Yeah, I'm ally to the Vah Shir and KOS to the Kerrans; odd thing is, as a Dark Elf Necro I started out KOS to the Kerrans but indifferent to the Vah Shir.
I don't think anyone is KoS by the Vah Shir : I have a friend who brought his necro Iksar follower of Cazic-Thule (which means he probably is one of the most hated person in the EQ world :) and the guards and citizens of Shar Vahl never attacked him (I think they coned indif).
I've also seen ogres and trolls in Shar Vahl, but I'm not sure if they improved their faction to get there.
But hey, as Dark Elf and Iksar necros are welcomed in our town, I think it's the same for everybody...
And cat people are indif to me, except a few prisonners in the warrens who are raedy to attack.

The vah shir have little experience with these races and theos (gods) thus neither care for or against them

Can someone please tell me how to get Jo Jo to spawn? iwas on kerra for like 2 days and never even saw him once. thanks

Really easy to get stuff from this island as long as you aren't threatingly.. just pull to zone where are only two healers who use light healing (33 HP heal).. after two spawns of the tiger PH JoJo spawned, dropped the claws. After that kill I was dubious and didn't want to completely murder my faction on Luclin so I left =/

Posted: Jul 06 2001 at 3:09 AM, Rating: Sub-Default, (Expand Post) Hey dumbass, the faction on Kerra isnt going to effect faction on Luclin UNTIL AFTER the portals to Luclin open (game release). Then the faction will coincide with eachother. Read the FAQ on www.everquest.com and under SoL page.

Hi,
I went to Kerra Island as a 15 Ranger to kill Jo Jo, but he conned RED to me. Becareful as there are two cat shamans next to him that constantly heal him if you do damage to the tiger.

it may not have damage but its fast and good for duel wielding with a weapon with more damage

nice, the poor-mans thulians. only 1 less dmg and 1/3 the price. the only problem with that is next to no one goes into kerra isle (i dont see why, theres almost no faction tied to the place other then the kitties themselves).
also, im pretty sure these are primary hand only (making the "wolverine" look that much harder to attain) which leaves the all/all claws from Velious and the crappy claws from Kunark as the only off-hand claws. grr.

I got a sarnak etchatka(think i spelled thst wrong), and thullian claws.It took me 2 days of whealing and dealing, and around 500pp, but if you have the $, its not that hard to get 2 claws.
Theese claws are not half bad, they're good and fast, but they don't hit that hard.

What was the 500pp for? I got an eitchatka for 100pp and how much are these claws? its says 100pp, is that a wrong price?

Its not 500 for these and the sarnak claws, it was for the sarnak claws and some thulian claws, least thats how I read it
