This dropped today from that lumi crawler at the NE camp in PoV, lucky me i won!! Although i wont use 8-( as my current earrings are better ( silver hammer & solstice) it sells for about 7k on 7th hammer.
...you will ever find an ear slot item this good in the 5k range except for Earring of Solstice which you can get the parts for easily with all the tradeskill mania.
Of course if you're a druid you do that quest twice and cash in on selling the eye.

The first one we killed the first time i was in POV dropped one, I did a pc in bazaar channel and was told it was worth 15k but they were selling it for 20k in bazaar. This item is a keeper as to if its worth that well i was offered 13k the second i ask for a pc. SO you be the judge

Looks like 5-10k would be the range. I see items that are easier to get and almost as nice selling for 5k, and I see items that are about as hard to get and perhaps as much as twice as nice (+10STA in one case) that are selling for 20k.
