There is very little actual information online about this item. I did Merona's Brother quest at least 30 is not more like 40 times and I was doubting that this even existed. But I finally got the Ring of Pine. The stats are as described here. Despite the stats, my 49th level Ranger will wear and adore this ring. Good luck to all you roleplayers out there.
I really don't like the negative fire resist on this item. In a game where your ability to resist attacks can save your life, I don't think that 2AC and 1 STA are enough to outweigh the additional damage you are going to be taking whenever something hits you with a fire/heat based attack. In QH or BB this isn't really an issue, but once you move out to WK, those damn caster bandits are going to roast your *****

I killed casteskin at level 3 and he was blue to me then!... I have the note and will be doing this quest the moment the server goes up again. Also it takes +2 sta for one hitpoint... although it actualy gives you 1 hp per 2 stamina points. if you have 73 sta and then wear this ring making your sta go to 74 you will gain a point but if your sta is 74 to begin with and wear this ring making it 75 you WONT get an extra hp...
anyway since this quest lookslike it can be done by a level 2 minimum then the +2 ac on the ring aint to bad for a starting character.
