I got these for my shaman, paid 5k in the bazaar for them. Was very much in shock when I equipped them & saw my AC go down like 25 points just for equipping these. I'd guessing they're actually neg 15ac or even more neg AC somewhere hidden on them. Either or , do not buy them unless you are certain they will give you AC & not take it away.

I have this problem sometimes on my warrior. When I put Champions Greeves on ( 34 ac) over my crafted ( 12) my ac dropped about 20. I just re logged and ac was up higher again.
Maybe its cursed until you complete the quest.
Ok i'll bite.. what's the curse associated with these things? Now that NPC's can 'look' at what you have available, this thing may have negative repercussions just by haveing it.Just speculation on my part, time will tell.

These sorta suck taking into consideration they are dropped by a level 61 mob.
