Why would you waste a 3-4k pelt on 5AC and 2Cold? Push your Taloring and make Fleeting Quivers.
Considering that HQ lion skins sell for at least 100pp, I would say that this is a big waste. Sell the HQ skin and buy something better

Because HQ Lion skins are used in the highly marketable Fleeting Quiver, they go for a LOT more than 100p. Check your prices in baz, and if you find a HQLS, chances are the seller will be asking more like 5k for it. Might wanna try to sell off your hide and buy some gloves that have decent stats and let these things pass into Everquest's history books.

Decent for monks, again Wu's is better, but for n00bs it is pretty good.

Yes, you missed that is is GOLD not Plat. You need to turn in the amount in gold.
