Its funny how the spear is listed as common when it comes from for rare items/spawns. The twilight quest items are a serious pain to obtain. Expect to spend on average 24hours camping spawns to get the four items pieces, thats with a tracker. Good spear though.
But, I think they rated this item in "Hand In", not by the gathering of the required pieces. Meaning.. once you have all the pieces and "Hand it In" you will always recieve the spear. Hence, "common" :)
Because some of us don't belong to uber guilds or have a bunch of bored high level friends to help get our Epic at lvl 50.. I have accomplished over high of my Shaman epic quest at lvl 50 and don't epect to get it done till I am nearly 57 or so, if I am lucky.. Probably will do this quest for the spear and retire my Jade Chodki (who knows might get the howling stones key, lol)
I see a good reason other people probly see. This isn't No-Drop you can sell it or give it to a twink. Not sure how much it cost to get the items (or how hard as the case may be) but I can see this a being a good twink spear.
Yah, I can definitely see giving this to my level 1 Shammie with a Book of Spirts in off hand and a Slime-Coated Harpoon in Range. I am on the edge of doing the Beastlord and Shaman Twilight Quests now and see this spear worth it overall.
First decent item (vs difficulty) I've seen from the twilight quests. Most of the items are sub-standard for the level you can actualy obtain them. This? This is worth working towards.
At the level they are attainable, some of the ranger armors aren't horrible, but this is the first weapon I've seen worth chasing down parts for. Mostly I see people going after the TS quest stuff for its appearance, which is pretty sad considering how involved the item hunting can get.
