Shadows of LuclinBut I certainly would not complain about picking this up before I get my epics, as a Ranger. It's limited in its function by being fire damage based, but it'd still be an upgrade for my offhand...

This would make a nice weapon for someone to take to Velious, someplace like that would help guarantee you get yer fire bonus.

Not TOO bad for Akky loot... really only good for outside the ruins and could use more hp, but... oh well.

50HP's +10 sv Fire on a weapon with ok (definately not bad) ratio? I'd say every duel wielder should have this for AE fights when there is Fire resist needed. Top of my list to get this are Bards and Rogues as the Off Hand for them isn't their major contribution to the fight anyway. I'd use this in ToV alot on my Warrior, I'd twink a Guildmate up with this for Naggy or Vox (for the bane damage) and I'd sure use this in Skyfire.
And I'd take this drop any day over the Centi SS or Centi Warhammer drops.

not meaning to be rude, but unless your a bard or a rogue post 45, don't say what weapons they should use...for a rogue the offhand weapon DOES make a differance..go play a 45+ rogue and put this in the off hand then put a ribcracker in the offhand and tell me how well you evade, if your alive still, cuz if your the groups tank, that rogue is dead, dunno about bards cuz i know when to keep my mouth shut and stick to what i know.
How you gonna twink with a NO DROP sword? Just wondering.

You might want to hold back your criticisms until after you've read your own posts. 50 HP and 10 SvFire are not *that* great. The ratio isn't that great. I'm not saying this is a bad weapon, especially considering some of the nonsense that drops in Akheva, but it's hardly something everybody will be rushing to get.

How soon they forget.... What would you get instead, then? When I search for Luclin drops with FR and HP comparable to this, I see Ishinaear Xiall, the shadowflame stuff and this weapon. Everything else is either a) on a Luclin boss, which puts it in a very different class in terms of who can get it or b) not nearly as good. Sure if you can get a White Fire Short Sword, go for it, but getting one isn't an option for many people.
This *is* that great if you need HP and FR, and I think the previous poster did a nice job of explaining why.
