talk smack all ya want, but, i ran a lvl 12 mage into BW to loot these after we killed him, and my lvl 12 mage has been eating them up. now, at high lvls yeah, trash after DoN cultural, but, at lvl 12, they are some fun things to have. Come to think of it, im not entirely sure that baby mage of mine even has an aoe spell of his own...
My 63NEC helped my 65CLR friend with the mob for his epic, and he had his DRU port my 25WIZ over to grab the gloves, since no one in the group had any use for such a lame item. This effect can come in handy for those times when something's down to about 5% of its life and I don't want to use a 320dmg nuke on it.
ack, I was hoping that they were part of a quest... =/

I can't beleive these drop off a lev 61 - 62 mob @@ .. what a waste of a drop what were they thinking?... i beleive this is a bad joke =P
I got a pair of these last night. Its a 5 second cast time. Then went to SRo and played with it. Yeah the dmg is low but its zero mana and AE.

-28 dmg PBAE(PointBlankAreaEffect) anyone know the casting time on these fine gloves? I have been experimenting with PBAE groups and I think these would make a fine addition to my spells.

Come on, 28 dmg arent even worth the trouble of clicking it - even if you hit 14 mobs at once...
just cast another 'Cast Force, Thunder Clap or Sun Strike'...
