Ok, I'm somewhat bewildered by one thing: Doesnt anyone ever play or read up on other characters besides their own? Bards:need CHA to pull, mezz, charm..Enchanters:same as bards, CLERICS: ever hear the cry for the cleric to Pax? that takes cha! Ive told people that I was not going to Pax because at the time i had sorry charisma. Probably wouldnt hurt a Necro either. They have some charm capabilities, if memory serves...Dire Charm...Personally I would Not want this on my warrior. Unless hes selling of course, but if hes fighting I would rather have low cha since he will be more likely to hold aggro.
See what I'm saying? Dont dis an item for one class or another w/o first doing intensive research on that class. By that I mean, try reading every EQ book that has come out, front to back 20times.

I have one of these on my monk. the ac is nice and the magic resist is very nice, but one huge bonus to many monks is the effect. humans cannot see well at all and to have a good item that also lets you see... well that increases its usfullness a great deal.

Should peeps be knocked out of roll if monk in group? Depends on the situation and the raid. But i agree, this is a nice item for bards and enchanters as well... but is funny to see the guy below saying how this is not a monk specific item and it should go to his bard or enc... heh, funny.

I think its crazy... I wear this thing an I'm a druid I think MR is great for ALL classes and the stigma thats attatched to items because of the weight just makes me wanna puke. There are more classes out there then monks for cryin out loud! And to cut other classes out of rolls because of this really bites.

Fisrt os all theese stats are GREAT for a bard. I was in solb the other day and people said only monks roll for it. after some discussion we agreed also bards roll for it. i said I pass cause i dont need it. I changed my mind rolled anyways and got 999 out of a 100 Lmao . and cause i said i passed i didint get it hehe.

Anyways this is a GREAT bard item considering we need cha and usualy dopnt have much str. cause we use plate and put pints in other stats we need more.

all/all with 20 MR makes it good resist gear for any class so i think anyone should get to roll unless they can buff their own MR

Serpent Sight is a spell that allows Humans (and Erudites and Barbarians) to see with Infravision, the same vision every other race save Dark Elves see with. Very handy for non-casting classes of the human races.

My goodness. Ever wondered....this would be AWESOME for a human monk. 13 AC, and SvMagic +20. This is a great piece of equipment.

yep, but far better for an enchanter.
RE: Jesus
# Jan 11 2003 at 5:09 PM Rating: Default
Actually this item is just as usefull to a monk bard or enchanter as all 3 classes can make equal use of it and besides a syrin hair hood from rathe mountains off the rare paladin who spawns there has just as good of stats.

# Jun 17 2002 at 10:35 PM Rating: Decent
If anything this should go to enchanters or bards. I mean c'mon this going to a monk is ridiculous, even a warrior. The MR stat is great, but when it comes to it enchanters and bards need that CHA to keep the mobs off your ****** Think about it, if it wasn't for us Bards and enchanters you all would be dead.

I have one. Its a must for bards with the money. I mean the Cha boost is great for soloing and the Magic resist boost has saved me in more than a few duels, the serpent sight effect is nice too. Unfortunatly there is no graphic for this (looks like your not wearing anything)

why not go with the jesters crown for less money? just curious since on bristlebane i've seen the jester's crown go for 12-15k and the tranix once auctioned for 20 if not 25k.

Most chanters aren't willing to take the -30 int hit that the jesters crown gives. By the time I'm done replacing my other cha gear with int gear to make up the difference, I'm not gaining much cha.

Hehe, Jesters crown's go for that much? Wish I could transfer the ones I have on twinks to your server.
