There's actually no need to complete the whole Misgnomer quest to obtain this bonus item. Just pick a Sprinkled Pixie Dust (ground spawn) in Lesser Faydark and give it to Cleanwork MMM in Steamfont Mountains.

At the present moment, you do not need to do Misgnomer to get this. Just go to the pixie tower in LFay and pickup a purple ball. Then go turn it into the clockwork MMM mechanical rat in steamfront near Akanon.
