Armor is essential to keeping
you alive out there, so you
should not cut corners. The
use of the transmogrifant
patch, previously outlined in
volume 1, will make this a lot
simpler of a process. Though
each use different components,
Smithing and Tailoring are the
two skills used for creating
armor. Smithing uses plate
templates and a smithy hammer
| to shape the transmogrifant
patches, while tailoring needs
silk template patterns and a
sewing needle.
Wrist and hand armor will
require one patch, while feet,
head, and arm armor will need
two patches. Leg armor will
need three patches, and chest
|
| armor will need four.
The same applies as in
previous volumes, to empower
your armor, ossified bloodied
ore can be used, but to gain
the highest possible
potential, you'll need to find
the highly rare calcified
bloodied ore and cover it in
| three pinches of luclinite
powder. What sets the crafting
of armor apart from the other
items is the need for class
emblems and luclinite mediums.
Using a luclinite enrichment
medium will result in powerful
armor, but to truly activate
the transmogrifant patch, a
luclinite enduement medium is
required.

Instructions on crafting
shields will also be covered
in this volume, as their
function is much the same as
armor. Once you have the
appropriate shield plans,
tower shields will need four
bloodied luclinite boards,
spiked shields will need
three, while bucklers will
| need two. Once you have the
basic shape laid out, protect
it a with high impact lacquer.
To empower your shield,
ossified bloodied ore can be
used, but to gain the highest
possible potential, you'll
need to find the highly rare
calcified bloodied ore and

luclinite powder.
