In volume one, I covered the techniques involved in using fish scales to make flexible, cloth-like materials. In this volume, I will detail how to use that material to craft amices and cloaks.
First, you'll need the correct pattern, whether it's a
shoulder pad or cloak pattern. You will also need a spool of simple thread and some purified detergent. Amices require one fish scale sheet, while cloaks require two. Appropriately shaped cutting tools will be required to cut and adhere gems to the garment.
Amices will generally use half-moon and trillion, square and pear, or round and oval cut tools and gems. Cloaks use round and oval, half-moon and trillion, or marquise and square cut tools and gems.
To empower your cloaks and
amices, ossified bloodied ore can be used, but to gain the highest possible potential, you'll need to find the highly rare calcified bloodied ore and cover it in a dusting of luclinite powder.
