Man artifact doesn't mean one on each server, just means GM event item basically. There happen to be four identical artifacts on every server but the newest ones. And that is al'kabors propylon of the nexus.

Artifact is simple. Means there is only one copy of it. No other on hte server. So, whoever got this KNOWS that there will be NO other person that has a copy of it. Ever.
At least on that server :)
Hasnt been used much lately, but there used to be a few artifact items pop up from time to time in old lands, and the like. I'm guessing Legends will see more artifacts popping up over time.

Ok, I've seen a lotta good stuff from Vex-Thal on this site but...this is incredible. Does anyone know what Artifact means? Also this would be a great item for necros (more liching with the HP and STA).
