its not a gm event its a quest related war in jaggedpine you kill the head gnoll guy in jaggedpine and turn in head to start human gnoll war its 1 of the many results of the end of the war, helm is not the best result its more of the worse of the war
Why even put items like this on the stite? It's no-drop and it's from a GM event on Legends. It may well never ever drop or be given out again. As things stand, it's not even "attainable" (ie quested or campable) by anyone on purpose, so what's the point? Just seems like waste of time recording items like this IMO.
Whatever, if people wanna jack my karma down for speaking my opinion, that's fine. But the tag at the top said and still does say GM Event. So I think people should understand why I said that. If it's just a normal item for a war, then it's fine with me. But I begin to question the point of it all when most Legends item say no longer dropped, GM Event. Those items are just eye-candy, since you simply cannot get them in any normal way. That's the point. I don't know about you, but I pay for the premium service to help me with equipment decisions in EQ, NOT to look at purdy pictures of things that I can't get no matter what. If you think that is stupid, then jack this one way down too, but at least realize what it is you are rating. Thanks.
But it's so easy to avoid... on the main page, Legends items are listed seperately. And, when you do a search for an item, the default is to NOT include Legends items.
Now, if it's just GM event items you're complaining about, I could see your point, but it's not like the majority of items in the game that are this way.
I'm pretty sure these items are documented for reference purposes and for comparisons to be made, whatever they are for. Not all people who look at this site are looking for upgrades and such, some just find it interesting to see what kind of items are/have been available. Even though this isn't actually a GM event item, I look at it just out of pure curiosity as to what other players are equipped with and to get an idea of what kind of things are attainable through playing along with a GM event.
Just my thoughts on the matter, I apologise for off-topicness of it :)
