What would be better, this or a Heavy Dragon BP? And also, if you know of any other good rogue BPs that are similar to those two, please post them or link them. Thanks! Sorry its late and i dont feel like researching for a new BP, heh
For distribution, most guilds that are killing this probably have better gear (Vindi BPs, Erad BP, etc) so chances are it'll go to an alt or to bazaar..
Great for a mid 50 who isnt in a large raiding guild.

Posted:Oct 17 2002 at 12:48 PM, Rating: Sub-Default, (Expand Post) I almost bought one just 10min ago for 32k...but i wasnt sure about it. Looks like a PSC with higher AC but lower stats all around. However, this has consistent resists which PSC doenst, and has 25hp more. Theyre very similar IMHO the AC tho on this should only add maybe 6k. So i think this should only fetch 15k dry, but then add in risk (5k or so) so i would think a good fair price should be around 19-25k, if not lower. Just my 2cp.

Thanks more twink bait." NO NOT EVERYONE WHO FIGHTS IN THERE HAS BETTER !
This item is pretty lame for what you have to do to kill it. It drops off I think the name was an acidic slime. I know it was "acidic" dont remember the slime/ooze/narstyness name, but I think it was slime. We killed it last night, it was the only drop off the mob, and yes it is still droppable... Anyway, the mob hit for around 800 w/o defensive disc, and had an AE that was a 800hp over two **** DoT plus stun for the 2 ticks. AE checks magic and was resisted fairly easily. Anywho, thats about all I have to say, it was a server first on Prexus I beleive, and we wish to be the 2nd, 3rd, 4th, etc.. to kill this guy.

PS... Fight lasted about 23 minutes and the thing had mucho hit points. You do have to worry about adds repopping from where u fight it
if i was in a group i would think the shaman should get first pick on it because about 85% of the shamans out there at lvl 50 are wearing BLOODSTAINED tunic which i think is crappy bit better then nothing. all the other classes listed get armor about the same stats in other places but shamans need the BIG AC for when the heal, haste, buff, DOT,DD,SLOW, debuff,Strip enchantment,Malise, and a few other types of spells.
First we cleared the hallway and pool leaving the trigger still there. Then we buffed up. THE most important thing to do is buff MR. With high MR we resisted the ae very well. I think I got cought one time the whole fight(mr 222 with bard playing). We killed the trigger and pulled the first mob into the tunnel. If I remember this one is slowable and hits for 400's. Second mob is not slowable I believe. You can drop ds befor the 2nd mob is killed and back off of the third one if you do not damage it and it will not summon you. This is where we med back to full befor going after the acidic mass. Rebuff grm. Here we had MT go diskD and shaman slow. This mob hits for 800's max. Our clerics did a rotation which switched off clerics when first one got to 2m, healing when MT was a 2L. MT had 7khp. About halfway through the third fight it spawns 2-4 little slimes at which point we had group3 break off and take care of them. Then about 1/4 life 2-4 more spawn, same deal with group3. Kinda weird how it goes enrage with 100khp left....
Anyway, third fight took about 20-25min. First time we did this fight with one and half groups. Wiped. Those little ones it spawned on us were a big suprise. Second time, Kilt, Dead Slime. As a druid I didn't have much to do but nuke the crap out of him. I used up 4 full bars of mana on this guy, or about 47k damage.

Posted:May 07 2002 at 2:22 PM, Rating: Sub-Default, (Expand Post) This is 100% rogue bp, or maybe a ranger possibly. How many BPs out there have this high AC that aren't no drop, and don't have a recommended level? Not too many? Thats what I thought. The minor +3s to stats are just the icing on this item, but for a ranger or rogue to boost up their ac this is great. BTW im proud to have a rogue with high ac, cause strength and dex i can easily get from a shaman. Highest recorded AC on my rogue to date :1364
This thing would make a fine shaman/ranger bp also. I cant speak for the rangers out there but there are a boatload of shaman that are 50+ running around in bloodstained tunics. Every person who plays is not in a huge guild or even have alot of play time. In fact this is by and far a better bp for shaman than rogue due to aggro they pull with slows and any shaman who solo, which is just about all of them at one point or another, AC is king for getting in and taking the beating so your pet doesnt die. On a side note, resist are king for anyone who plays on a PvP server...on the blue servers you hear reference they are for the 50+ game. On our servers they are priority from day one, nothing worse than to be rooted by a cleric and blasted to death!

Is about time a tunic like this came out that is wearable by shaman/rangers. I am niether, but I can definitely appreciate what either class can do in a raid situation. Three cheers for shaman slow spells, HoS, etc.
