Everyone's pretty much covered the details on this but just a quick note, the Mark of Sorcery is No Drop. So far it is the only No Drop piece I have seen for these quests but I haven't done them all. Just incase you have been looking in the bazaar for it, it won't appear, except maybe on FV.
Gladiator spawns to the right of the stairs to Bedlavar's building (Duelist also spawns there) and if you are close to the appropriate level for these quests you will want an aggro reducer on the others. I think you can start single pulling at 53, I am certain I was able to at 54, at least.
Pull him to the south towards Katte (before the steep incline) nothing else paths down there that I have seen.
Robe is a nice piece for the appropriate level (high 30's to mid 40's) but by the time you've finished one of the Chest piece quests you'll prolly be high 40's minimum (even if you spend all your time just doing the quest) and will then be capable of getting much better items. It does fill in as a stop gap and knowledge there is a purpose to all the killing helps with the level grind.

Sorry to say none of the pieces are no drop. I bought the mark in the bazaar for 20pp and did the turn in w/ a lvl 48 mage.

At 40 you can go keel the grimlings in TM in there caves, clear caves and if you it there long enuff u can make anywhere from 1-10k depending on your time there, i have stayed there for 10 hours an have made well over 10k it is really worth the lvling an camped in 2 days i made 40-45 and got 10k cash to blow, so to sit an quest this for a week is a joke.
everyone says the TS robe is bad... i think its pretty hot,i mean its rare as heck, and (on old graphics) its really hot [same design as carmine] also i spent alot of money on the rest of my gear.... being untwinked and only in my lower 40's this suits me... about equal to Froggy robe. since i spent about 15k on gear which is alot for my lvl...this robe is like free 200pp to get and guild got me the mark very fast... i love it and gratz to who ever gets it =)

I've never seen another one on E'ci. I might not have the only one, but there can't be many if there are others. The camps for this take forever.
On the bright side, it has better stats than most mid-lvl Robes. The +mana and +resists are fairly rare as far as < lvl 50 robes go.
If you want to camp it (good luck) you have to clear the entire Shadow island in TS for hours, days, or even weeks for the Disgraced Shadow. I hunted there several times in multi-hour sessions with my Mage, plvled my Wizard for 2 levels there, and cleared it several times for loot. I never saw the Disgraced Shadow once in what I estimate to be ~40 hrs of camping. A guildmate gave me the Book of Sorcery.
The Powerful Thought Leech is the first spawn on the left, inside the first cave to the left of MS (as you zone into ML from MS). Just kill the left spawn repeatedly until it pops the PTL. I got very lucky and spawned him as the 4th cycle.
Coterie Gladiator, another treat. He spawns at Bedlavar's Coterie camp, first one North of Katta along the West zone wall. The Gladiator specifically spawn to the right of the ramp, in front of Bedlavar's house (the one against the West wall). The named Coterie for the Beastlord BP also spawns in the exact same spot. It took me 8hrs to spawn the Gladiator the first time, and since then I have plvld for about 16 more hours at the same camp and haven't seen Gladiator once.
I don't think I would part with this robe for any less than 12k, given the difficulty to attain it and the unique look, not to mention the RARITY of it. It's quite a status symbol to have people always clicking on you going "what's that robe?"

Tradet my Froggy robe for this. I know the stats are not so good but it has a cool look and wery few if none wizard robes loke remotley alike. Its cool :)

this robe is surprisingly ***. And given what i have been told about the twilight quests, this robe entailes loooong hours of camping green crap. By no means worth the work with only 8 int and more importantly only 20 mana. i would rather get a FBCR or Tola's, or do what i did, grab some friends and beat down Tserrina a few times and take hers...kinda depressing that this robe is so not worth the effort to get.

i'm sorry, i dont like to flame, but please consider what you have said. your out camping greens, that means this could be done alot earlier lvl wise. then when consider that you dont need a high lvl raid party to get this, and could potentially do most of the camps solo if not with just the support of a small party who would be getting decent exp hunting in these zones anyhow through out the mid 30 and 40's. i personally think the twilight class quests are one of the better things verant added as a great incentive to hunt on the moon in some decent zones during the mid-lvl's. if you want high end gear, just forget about mid-lvl quests and get in on some raids that are more appropriate to your lvl. hope that will help you open up your perception on this and other mid-lvl quest gear. 8)
This robe is ***! Deal with it. Even more so now with LoY you can make robes with 10int and tons of other stats that sell for 50pp cus they are so easy to make...

OK, with the help of my g/f (druid) i've been killing the shadow's in TS for days, quading to keep the island clear, it seems to me that the named ones (frenzied, dark, Lithe) pop after every island cleansing and then the rare named ones (that drop the ts pieces) pop about every 2 hours. Can anyone tell me the longest they have camped to get the disgraced to pop? thanks!
See my post farther up the board, I camped Disgraced for around 40 hrs all total and never got it to pop. Had to beg for the book from a friendly guildy Necro >:(
Hmm.. Luck of the draw.. I bought the book from the merchant just downstairs from the FG portal in the castle.. Someone had been farming the Shadows for their other drops and sold some TS quest items.

I got mine about a week ago on the Karana Server. Ever since, I have had people peeking my inventory constantly to see what it was.
The stats are decent... about the same as a froggy robe.. just a tad better, actually. But the color and design truly are unique.
EDIT!! I had an offer this morning of 10K for my robe. Some people would just pay any price for fashion, I guess LOL...
The Thought Leech is in the Thought Leech cave in Mons Letalis. He spawns in the first large cavern.
The Gladiator spans in the NW corner coterie outpost in Tenebrous
The Book of Sorcery comes from a disgraced shadow in TS on the Shadow island
The Astral Jewel, I have found, drops from more than one type of mob. I have seen them drop from un-named as well. I got mine on Alien Island in Twightlight, however I have seen them drop off of un named Coteries in TM, and tro jegs in SD as well. Just keep your eye out for it. The Astral jewel is used in several quests.
As a side note, my usual group and I regularly camp the Though Leech cave now. It is simply great for exp at the 49-53 lvl range. No one cometes with you for mobs, and the respawn time is perfect for chain pulls!

I disagree with this being better than the Froglok robe. Yes, the 5AC points are better, but I'd rather have the 20 extra points of mana and higher saves; you are gaining 8 pts vs Magic and Fire, but only losing 2 pts vs Cold. The loss of DEX does stink (for fizzles and all).
I have everything but the Mark of Sorcery from the Coterie Gladiator in Tenebrous. I'm going to grab some friends and whack his butt for the Mark, then get my robe. Woo Hoo! :)

I JUST recieved this robe. The look is similar to a advisor robe ONLY in color.. the outline and shapes on the robe make it unique. This quest takes a long time, especially since NO-ONE hunts in Mons Letalis, that was the hardest area to camp. The Powerful though leech ( globe of power ) was the hardest MOB to find, the disgraced shadow ( book of sorcery), gladiator ( mark of sorcery) and astral jewel ( any Luclin Mob) were all easy. This robe is a nice "upgrade??" to my guardian robe.. if only for the color scheme.
I may be the only wizard on Povar to have this robe.

I have noticed that most named mobs for TS quests spawn only in one place and have one PH, not a random spawn in place of any creature of their type.
So could you please answer:
Where in TM does the gladiator spawn?
Where in ML does the powerful spawn?
Also, isn't the Mark off the gladiator "Sorcery," not "Shadow"?

Gladiator spawns at northwestern camp in TM, don't ask me which exact spot.. anyway, i'd say southmoust, no guarantee. he drops mark of sorcery.

15ac, 8int, 20mana, some saves and other stats... this thing is a pretty awesome robe, IMO. If it has a unique look, then I'd consider it even twice as valuable. :)
