Shadows of LuclinI was wondering if anyone could tell me the look of this helm? Does it look the same color as that POS BP from Netherbian Lair? Or does it have its own sweet look? Oh and also is this helm really a common drop off this named? I mean every time it drops or what? Any of this info would be helpful thank you.

to give you an idea as to how good it is....cobalt is 25 ac and a crappy effect, this is 25ac 5str....so it is not bad at all....granted it is no warlords crown or anything like that but still not bad in the least

Not sure I'd call perm infravision a crappy effect for us blind human types :)

This is of the same name as bp but significantly harder zone and mob to kill bp has 20 ac 2 str and other minor stuff. So is this the same line of armor?

It is unreal how many awesome items drop in Umbral Plains. Really looking forward to getting to this zone. hehe i still have leather armor and banded in some slots haha.
Netherbian Chittin is a nice, but low-level BP from the NB Lair (easily attained solo as a 40 WAR, but a group could have done it in high 20s). It seems odd that the NBC Helm would drop off a named in a high-level zone.
Given that, it has nice AC, but overall it seems that it's not quite up to the level of the zone. I guess since it's not NODROP, I'd probably sell this to someone who would appreciate it more.
Anyone know if there are other pieces? Is it a set? It would seem oddly mis-matched if so.

Only other piece I know of is the vambraces.

Str+6
Sta+6
Hp+50
Mana+25
Wearable by all plate and chain classes.
Not sure where it drops tho.
I got the the chitin solo at 25.

The Netherbian Swarm Leader is who drops it. Not that high level. A group of 23-25s could do it, someone in the high 20's could easily get it soloing. The prob with the Swarm Leader is he usually pulls a couple of friends (normally a Warrior or even the Swarm Caller) with him.

No more mismatched than the Mithril Armor. Pieces of that have been coming out of Sol B for years obtainable at level 35 and with velious release there are now Mithril pieces from ToV that are not obtainable til 55+
