Has anyone noticed that these have exactly the same stats, slot options, weight, etc as the Carved Stabbing Spear which also drops in CT? Anyone know of a quest they might be mates for?

Damage bonus is based on the level of the player; for a 50+ player it would be 9-11 instead of 6 as it is at 45.
As for Unknown Body Type, well, that used to mean Vampyre...might just mean they haven't said for sure what the bane is for.

THe dmg bonus on this rogue beuty is 6 not 9 got this like 2 hours ago of a warrior. Just because I am 45 doesnt mean 45 can go in here Got killed once and almost died 2 other times bad *** plass so all below 55 dont go in.

I was in Cazic-Thule the other day having a look around the entrance (I'm not stupid enough to go any farther) and I noticed these things drop off the lizards near the zone line. Still, it's nice for lower level types and it's secondary useable so you can get that cool dual spear look.

FYI unknown body type is someone in a different form than their normal .. i.e. a necro in skelly form , or a person hit with boon

wtf for being in the NEW revamped CT, this thing sux. I was poking about the new stuff in hopes of a new poker for my rogue twink *currently using 14/28 +1 damage bane unknown body type (/bog unknown body type) and sum other stats* I am sorely dissapointed.

Ya these suck for 55+ zone, but im assumeing it the new Fine Steel equivalent.
Was thinking the same thing. Great as pet weapons too, specially since, well, you're fighting lizzies all the time when these drop.

They sell for 15 plats each to the Thurg vendor (ally, 203 charisma). Marginally useful to a twink rogue or shaman if they don't have anything better (much as FS are to noobs).
