My first, second, and third thought when I saw this item was "I wonder what quest this is for?"
It gives me hope that there are some quests out there that don't already have a step-by-step guide written for them. Of course, I'll probably come back to the site tomorrow and find the quest listed here....
I may not be a quest item, but from the stats and where it drops it just seems like one.

its not a quest item..just a piece of twink junk to give away..basically verant is flooding the area with alot of new cheesy useless drops so no one has a reason of there not being any drops at all,even though most are useless at the level required to get them..look at umbral plains..level 50+ zone..mobs drop no drop level 50 required armor but most people there would just let it rot cause it same crap you would find in highold with stats or player made..also verant is putting a whole lot out to flood the market with items to lower the sell value of things..poor vendor players like me have to work twice as hard now :(
I disagree that this is junk. I don't think it's "uber" (man I hate that word), but it's certianly not junk.
The problem is that someone who goes to PoP all the time looks at this and says, "why does my 65 Baron Loot Lord want this piece of crap?!"
Well, they don't. But when I was 35, I was sadly grouping in OT grinding out levels with an exp group of friends. We tried SD once or twice, but it didn't get anyone excited at the time.
I think if we'd stuck with it, we would have seen that a) this zone actually has some loot, unlike OT b) this zone is much better in terms of not having all of the prime pulling spots up on a hill or in front of "train alley" and most of all c) NO GOONS!
My NEC would have worn this until she got the BAM around 40, which she gave up at about 50 for Chancellor's, also from this zone.

Sorry, dont mean to flame but I have absolutely NO sympathy for you or the other people that make decent item so difficult to attain. What will happen when there is no more plat for the pharmers?? LOL

Like way too many objects in the game, this items has lots of stats, but not enough of any one stat to make it worthwhile. Anyone who can't replace this item with something more class appropriate by level 15 isn't trying very hard. Of course, you need to be 40+ to earn the item.

Honestly though, there are a lot of items out there for neck slot that are far better than this, and easier to get.
Anyway, for WIS casters and INT casters around level 45 - 55, Scarlet Desert is a the zone to be. ;)

Sorry to disagree but 50+ wis casters should not be in Scarlet Desert..We should be living in Maidens Eye..Thats where i live...Shrouded Boots 12ac 4 to all stats and 5cha...Slighted Gloves 15ac 15str 20wis.. Divine Inspiration 15int 15wis and other stats ranged item..so far i only have the boots but i dont see anything in Scarlet desert that can compair to this zone.. well good hunting and safe journey to all.

This item drops off the Killer Vine. The same one that dropped this also dropped a Whip Vine, a 1hs 14/33 plus stats weapon.

wouldnt mind haveing a rare drop item in all my slots :)
I'm trying to think of who but newbie types would wear this.
