Upgrades yer stein of mogguk... and if ya don't have anything better to put in primary move yer stein over there... it fits in either hand.
Got one today off him! my mage is gonna love me for it :) btw was dk blue to 54 druid and he dropped fast after two Wings of Death and 2 Breath of Ro.

Got one today, be nice little twink item when i start an enchie
This dropped for me today on Xev server. It's dropped by the Bloodtribe Ancient. When he has it it's visible; he wields it in his left hand like a caster book. (Odd, because he's not a caster, he's just a straight tank.)
I've killed the Bloodtribe Ancient many times and he has only dropped this once. He usually drops Bracer of Agitation, Edifier's Leggings, or Bonecollector's Hammer - never more than one of these at a time. And then he also drops some Acrylia too, just like regular Bloodtribe.

I was thinking the same. But unfortunately both the writ and the drachnid thyxl are secondary slot only, cannot equip both a time.
If I ever get to it I'll get me this item, would suit me better than the DT (although it's a tough decision imho).

We found A Bloodtribe Ancient in the back of the cave closest to the tunnel to the grey. He was blue to 47, and blue to 51.
