Waxy ClayMob also casts a spell called Pseudopod Strike ( https://everquest.allakhazam.com/db/spell.html?spell=17930 ) when it's target isn't within melee range of it, happened to us when our healers pulled aggro off our Warrior and it just spam casted it doing pretty whacky damage.
