First attempt we died even after reading the warning label below :)
70 ranger (tank i know dont laugh) max defensive AA, 12khps 2.2kAC dodge 3,4% shielding.
71 beast, 70 shaman, 66 cleric, 69 cleric, 67 druid was our group.

Followed the advice of tranq pulling with dispel which worked nicely but he got me (the ranger pulling and tanking) down to 60% by the time i got him back to camp. (we camped under the bridge)
1 cleric chain CHing 1 cleric maintaining HoT + VIE + fast heals and druid also spot healing when he quadded for 1600's.
max hit was 1700+ but most hits were in the 900 range, even shaman slowed he hit fast.
oh and i hit weaponshield as soon as in camp while establishing agro and slowing etc. without the WS we prolly would have wiped like the first attempt

2 kills dropped reef shield twice and one Shadowspine Rune (68 spells)

GL to any who attempt this mob without a real tank and/or decent group :)

PS was a blast to actually succeed hehe :)

Enraged at 10% health
Summoned occasionally
snareable
a LOT of hp's compared to the mobs around him. trash mobs were dropping in less than a minute with this group. Throatripper took almost 5 minutes.

Can be snared, dropped lesser shadowspine rune for us. Tranquility of the Glades the two adds around him and pull with dispell - he will come solo - or you WILL have a problem with his dps.
Don't Underestimate

Very mean mob. Couple friends and I were camping quest gems from these shadowmanes when this guy popped, we though ok hmmm he's only level 70 let's pull him.

Group makeup at the time was Cleric, Magician, Paladin, and a boxed bard played by the magician.

At the time my stats were with just conviction and self buffs 13.1k hp and 2.3k ac, max defensive AA and shield block 3, 6% shielding, 25 avoidance, improved dodge 3 item.

We werent ready for the onslaught, cleric was about 60m (9.5k mana), I had my 2hand weapon out at the time, we didn't dispell him on inc, and a multitude of other things we didn't think we would need to do for this mob.

Anyways, he hit me for 1776, that was the highest I saw, possibly he can hit higher. He probably had swift like the wind, and faith, because the shaman mobs and cleric mobs cast this on every NPC they path around.

He hits very fast, cleric could not use CH on me because of his damage output, so he had to use fast heals for a while. Once the bard finally got him slowed, and we were able to dispell him, and I switched to 1h+shield his dps dropped enough that cleric could use CH with spot heals from myself... but by this point he was pretty lom.

Despite everything, we managed to get him to 11% before he wiped us out. Cleric ran oom, I ran oom and we just couldn't keep me up anymore.

If you prepare for him you can kill him, but the point of this post is don't underestimate him, he's very vicious. And make sure to dispell him.

P.S. He was unstunnable and unmezzable... he might have been immune to changes in run speed too (snare/root) but I can't confirm that.

Loot kinda sucks for the difficulty of this mob, but then again it's attuneable loot so you can sell it I guess.
