Spore Guardian  

Instead of bashin everything in the swamp to bits try talking to the troll sk (cant remeber his name) in the sk guild about the froglok mask quest and he spawns. Then you have to run before someone else gets him or he walks to close to a guard.

When I was a young troll shaman, this mob took me out easily. I recently visited my homeland as a 45th season shaman and took my revenge. For your information, the guardian was completely resistant to poison spells, hence I took him out with a disease DoT (I could have meleed him but I enjoyed watching the torture). In addition, he kept casting snare on me, but I resisted it every time.

me saw him twice but when me was too low lvl to kill him. now mesa lvl 12 and back to smash him and no of course no sign of da mushie. spose dat always da way wit dese dings. anyhows me did hail da SK to maybe make him spawn? den ran a round guk and tower but only dose stinky elfs spawned? do u gota kill all dem to make him spawn maybes?
me killed 2 but the third was yellow and kicked me butt so had to zone guk..hehe
anyhows me sure me see him soon..... patience is always a virtue in EQ

me was near guk thingie fighting on one of dem ilands and him spawned and beat a dark elf half to deaf so me helps darkie and fights da guardian wit all his HP while a shammy snared him like hims snare me..mez a lbl 8 trollie warrior and him only took away half of me hp for he dropped to da ground and die like a weeklin...now me habs a huge spore head and hims droppeded a rusty short sword tew but dat is not no good..mez go do quest now

soloed with my lvl 8 necro, my pet died but i won.

im a lvl 22 wiz. so i would basically wipe the floor with him? bien. muy bien, amigos.

ok here it is i asked around and if you want to make this guardian spawn......you need to killall the fungus spores after you kill enough he will then spawn.... keep a close eye on all the mantracker for he looks just like one con all mantrackers... worked for my friend and i will try it. ASAP!!!! (it should take less than 2 hours to kill enough)

My pet and I were happily slaying a diverse variety of frogloks due south of the Guk entrance on a nice piece of flat ground right up against the wall. The next thing I know, I'm spinning... I can see this red and white mushroom pass across my whirling vision. YOU ARE KILLED BY SPORE GUARDIAN. Unless these guys wander through deep water that must be a spawn location

Dis damn thing nerly killed me. Finished da fight wit a half bub of life left and me is lvl 15 troll warrior wit da dual weapons an all dat.
He make me spin so much my eyeballs nearly fell outta ma head! Even when he con green ya might want ta have a buddy with ya ta help ya out!

Hiyas! I's Bazuka, troll shaman type of. I's edjumicated in Neriak, so's I learnt ta talk half-straight. I got my name from a gnomy tinker type, right before I ate him. Just watch out fer my backblast, hehehe. :)

Anyways, dis guy is bad news fer anybody under level 12 or so. If yer a shaman, ya may want ta stay away from him til ya's get dat Root spell at 14, den Root him, DOT him and blast him. Don't let him hit ya, he'll literally make yer head spin. Dat Clockwork Poison (same as da Whirl Til Ya Hurl spell what a darky chanter showed me) is funny to watch, but not funny at all to feel, believe me. After ya kills him, ya gots ta have good faction wit' da Grobb SK types ta get da mask (nice ting about us troll shamans, we start with enuf faction ta do EVERY quest in Grobb). Dis guy spawns every 8 hours earth (wherever dat is) time or so, I timed him out while huntin' him. He spawns out near Jojo's tower someplace, den usually walks past da Guk entrance headed towards Grobb. Hope all dis helps out.

Him mean me killin froggies and him sneak up on dis trollie and ream me good him not hit me but a couple times but was the froggies that killed me while me was doin da spinnin thing =)
