Took him down today with 100 Wizard >5500 AA/ and two 100 level Mages with >5500 AA both with EM XII foci. Two J5 healer mercs and one J5 wizard merc. Cleared both ends of bridge and the two wandering guards 4 times and he popped. Easy pull with no add even though other mob was up on end where he popped. Used two level 99 earth pets. No problem taking him down. Did not see any emotes or FD procs. Constantly cast relentless servant with both mages. Used silent casting and Improved Twincast on Wizard to help burn him down. Easier than some of the named in Valley that pop adds.

Easy kill with a 100 Mage w/ 7K AA, EM XIV earth pet, J5 cleric merc (100), J5 cleric merc (92). The second merc was probably overkill but I had never tried him before and wanted the extra comfort of a second healer. Pulled him onto the bridge for the kill, no issues. Dropped Ethernere Stone Earring.

Managed to solo him with 100 mage 7.2k aa and healer merc, had my merc on reactive still struggled to heal fast enough sometimes had to spam my pet heal quite a bit, used 99 earth with 1 in suspension as well, the fd wasn't a problem as i continuously cast relentless servant, mana was at about 5% at end incl. using mana reserve and large mod shard, at 10% hp started spamming pet heal as he crits like a mack truck, be careful when you use mod shard as your healer will heal you and that 5secs is all it takes for pet to go down, I used dark elf illusion and pulled him to the middle of the bridge where I got no aggro and guards left me alone due to illusion, also just used my bolt spells as it saved alot of mana they don't hit for as much as spear but use half the mana, dropped em15 ear on 2nd time and dropped gloves of latent ether both times :)
In the scheme of things, for an ROF T4 mob, this really isn't bad. I was able to solo him with a 100 necro and healer merc with no merc AA. He does as mentioned cast some sort of a FD spell that will often cause my pet to FD and stop fighting temporarily, then he hops back up and takes over.
He spawns on either side of the large bridge outside of the castle area around the Darklight bats. Some of these bats are also PH's so be careful.
have your DE illusion on or the guards will assist in the fights with the PH mobs and the named.
I was very pleased that they included the necro pet illusion for one, equal to the raid level ear of yesteryear. It is only every so often necros can get an improved pet illusion with the ears. I don't know how many times I have feedbacked on that subject. I realize the current raid ears are much more powerful then this ear, but it's a great joy to have the bonus of the illusion, at least to me.
If's often that this camp will be shared by groups on both ends of the bridge. This is also a joy because it lets people work together to pursue a common goal, something many EQ'ers have forgotten about.
IMO, your much better to wait until level 100 for this pet ear then even attempt some of the other versions. It was a little harder to get these. You can survive long enough on the ROF T1 ear if you are on top of it.

Super easy fight with mage Earth Pet tanking and 2 healer mercs. Was all tank and spank from what I saw, Earth pet never dropped below 60% or so. Disease slow landed on first attempt.

Ok good news about this guy is he CAN be slowed with shaman disease based slows. I got a partial success message using Curse of Insects from my shaman. Duo'd it today with my 100 mage/100 shaman combo with 2 healer mercs. Was supplementing shaman heals in as well to make sure my pet stayed alive. Pet with shaman/healer merc buffs did the trick. Don't forget to throw rampant growth/fatigue on the pet. Earth pet all the way for this guy as he hits like a mack truck and even with earth pet/twitching snood foci with growth on he would still purple. Very nasty.

After 2 wipes took him down twice today, (back to back pops) with 100 mage, 4500 AA group geared, 95 chanter 1800 AA, 82 ranger 1500 AA. All 3 using cleric mercs, higher 2 J5's, 82 one T5. The trick for me was switching to earth pet. I tend toward the air pet usually but the raw HP of the earth seem to be the difference with how this guy hits since the change. I use the mage pet ward as it would pop, the delay mage heal spell, not the regular heal at all. Servant as it pops, malosenia seemed to be resisted all the time, most of my fire based spells resisted half the time, tried the elemental rain, resisted every time.
Positive stuff- He is easy to single pull on the cave side of the bridge and he popped in both PH spots. If you stand next to the rockpile near the cliff you won't attract any of the bats as adds. Just watch out for the 2 patrolling guards walking back and forth on the bridge.

Mass of Spite gone up over 4 times the HP and has besides his annoying FD and about 8-16k max on a tank sometimes a massive damage output. Beastlord got eaten with 12-18k and one went up to 44k. They must have changed something very serious....
Full lvl 100 group with Dru/War/Bst/Enc and Tank/Healer Merc go eaten. After help with another group of lvl93-94 for DPS also wiped (Clr/Mag/Rog + Tank/Melee/Healer Merc). Slow does not land (no AA, Enc Spell or Bst Spell), Dru-/Clr-Debuffs are working. Tank had about 100k HP, 7600AC, beefed up with Fintars Retort (Clr), Druids Regrowth and Reptile, Clr-DI, besides the typical buffs. Didnt tried a healer chain so far but as a group mob this one is really nasty, if you are only group geared (VoA T3/4, CoF T1).
Any hints?

OK, done. two healers spamming Zealious Light/Sterivida Combos without break and two merc healers did now the trick. Wasted two merc tanks at the fight while real tank now made it but it was close. There are moments where a 100k tank gets eaten down to 20-30% in a row. Happy beastie boy has got the earring... good luck if you are only a group geared one ;)

Any one killed this since the patch that beefed up the named?
Perhaps the easiest Enhanced Minion mob ever. I've seen trash mobs harder than this guy, my parses show him ~2 million HP.

Killed a couple days ago, easy named, just an annoying FD spell (I don't know what it is called)

Mass of Spite also spawns at the two other Stonetallon spawn points by the bridge I have seen it in both places

Ethernere Stone Earring is the other common drop from this guy. It's the EM15 common ear.
