I don't know how new this is, but one night while killing for swords in HHK, I attacked her and she chased me around, but as of 11/12/06, she was perma-rooted and summons. Does anyone know when they made this change??
Not sure when they made the change, but I can confirm it was indeed made.
recently, my 26th lvl ogre berserker, with temp, speed potion, some shammy buffs, and decent gear, (over 2800 hp's with buffs) was totally owned by this wench. I managed to tank her down to about 50% on 3 different attempts, failed to finish her off all three times, even used healing potion. Her damage is insane now, and she summons. I'd also like to mention that although she summons, she only does it about once every 30 seconds. So it is possible to run from her to the nearby zoneline - which is exactly what I did.
In case anyone was wondering, the guards will not assist you, or her.
Back in the day, Korgulon (my ogre sk), at 25th lvl, could kill her easily. She was very good exp and dropped some decent coin at times (up to 5 plat).
One good thing - it's now possible to just run by her without worrying about her chasing you all over the zone.

If you can't do something well, learn to enjoy doing it poorly.

Have you tried running around the courtyard? Anyways, she isnt worth the faction loss, she is an extreme faction loss, and bad for Qeynos, which lies alot of nice quests.
For example, Hero bracer quest. Plus its better travel for you because now you have to run around all the bards in most zones. If you want faction back with bards and Qeynos, go to Blackburrow and kill gnolls and collect fangs, kill gnolls until your dubious or apprehensive to guards and go into South Qeynos and turn in 4 fangs at a time for even better faction.
If you want to do Hero bracer quest you have to do this, then do the Steel Warrior Initiation bracer quest, its a lowbie quest but you have to do it in order to do the Hero bracer quest. Look it up. Its not that hard, especially if you have a good guild to help you.
If your a necro or SK I wouldnt recommend this.. unless your a human. If your an evil race but not an evil class, this takes time but is well worth it, it also helps if your agnostic.

She aint worth killing she spawns every 20 min which is way to long.Kos classes she is good while you wait for group inside.However good races you will drop entire faction hit just by killing her once.So unless your eveil class or dont care about faction dont kill her.

My troll SK finally got to indifferent with the locals at Highpass and when I try to come in I discover the wench conning yellow and ready to attack. I was bound in the area so I thought "what the heck" and had at her. Since the AI doesn't know how to use bard songs for some reason, that makes her an underpowered fighter - she's an easy kill as long as you're lifetapping her at 22-24 and she gives close to a blue bubble of XP - if she had a faster spawn cycle she'd be a great XP farm.

The first several times I entered the keep (Ogre Warrior) she ignored me. HTen one day wham! She always attacks me now. I am about to ding 23. When I do I am gonna go kick her *** all over the keep now that I know she will not cause guards to get me.

she hits very rarely for her lvl i think, heh i was kickin her *** lvl 18 monk hits e for like 30-50 but the exp is great =P

I kicked the crap out of her at lvl 23 as a warrior (Ogre non twink). Great exp and the guards DON'T Aggro...I love it

I'm killing her every chance I get with my 26 wizard. She does resist demise, but hey the zone is right behind me. She does sometimes drop items, words, and occasionally plat. I throughly enjoy exploading the hell outta this bard. Osgargen however is way hard until 27 I think. He hits hard and fast.

She'll attack Iksars too even if you can move around without being attacked by anyone else.

She is in a bard faction ,and she always attacks evil races unless they have been to mistmoore and killed many things. She also gives out 2 letters for you to deliver.

I keep seeing that she always attacks troll and ogre but not sure about Dark Elf. So enjoy if you are evil races and try to avoid her.

I have found other bards that are great exp and always drop instuments worth 1pp-2pp.

My Ogre worked hard in High Hold killing Gnolls and Orcs to earn the right to shop at The Keep. But from time to time this Bard wench would chase me out. One day, I had had it. She conned yellow at the time, but I decicded it was she or I. I narrowly defeated her, and sat in the opposing corner to restore my health. Sure enough, just as I reached full she popped again.
I earned appx five levels with 2 different characters beating the snot out of this woman. I highly recommend it!
