Janeil Mon`estra says 'Welcome to (my home:your home), such as it is. Since you're here, would you be interested in some of these (scrolls and tomes) I've found?'

You say, 'your home'

Janeil Mon`estra says 'These are, technically, my quarters. Of course, with no (doors) on them, they might as well be anyone's.'

You say, 'doors'

Janeil Mon`estra says 'I'm told doors are in the plan and coming soon, once there's enough (shelter) for (everyone)'

You say, 'shelter'

Janeil Mon`estra says 'We're only inhabiting a small area of the city that was here long ago. As we regain territory we're setting up housing to allow more (people) to join us.'

You say, 'people'

Janeil Mon`estra says 'We're the Combine, NOT the Combine Empire. We're not about conquest, we're about setting up a new civilization for everyone to prosper in. I'm not certain how much of that I believe, but they let me do my (research) and I have a roof over my head. I can't ask for much more.'

You say, 'research'

Janeil Mon`estra says 'Since the outpost at Firiona Vie fell, most academics fled the continent of Kunark. After reading what people discovered here I couldn't wait to make the journey myself. When Tsaph came along with his vision, it seemed to be the perfect way for me to chase my (dream), too.'

You say, 'dream'

Janeil Mon`estra says 'I'm a researcher, and uncovering lost (scrolls and tomes) is my life's work. Working on that, here, now... Life is good.'

You say, 'scrolls and tomes'

Janeil Mon`estra says 'You would not believe what the old Combine left in just this area alone. I've found dozens of scrolls and tomes that weren't known anywhere else. I suppose I should inform the scholars in New Tanaan, but for now I can make a little bit of extra (money) by selling these extra items I've found.'

You say, 'money'

Janeil Mon`estra says 'Yes, I know. It isn't something you'll hear commonly around here, but frankly I've heard a lot of dreamers, and I'll be a lot happier chasing a dream if I've got some coins in my purse.'
