Mob is almost always up. When you add his hp plus those of his gaurds togeather it takes atleast 7 to 8 mins to kill him with 35+ time geared people. Then after you kill him 80% of said people will have no desire for any of his loot.
For guilds that would desire his loot the fight will probally drag past ten minutes and have a good chance of wipeing to healers running out of mana. If a guild that had majority of people wanting his loot and were able to muster raid force capable of killing him they would be much better off working there way through ether pop are god progresion that in end would have much better pay off then general.
So in end guilds capable of killing him kill him once are twice before deciding his loot isnt worth the time. Those guilds that would want his loot dont really have ability to kill him because there healers will run out of mana before general runs out of hp.
Beat him down tonight, raid of 45 or so, most ~Time-DoD geared. I tanked Commander Zygurth, while SK took other Commander, + War handled General. Burned Commanders then owned General. Infusion stopped the AEs, but the Knockback kept ppl thrown about. Round room made it hard for rogues, as mob couldnt sit still for backstabs. Dropped mask, belt + chronal stone. Hit me for 814-2024 once he enraged. kept groupheals goin for those w/o Infusion.
Death emote: "General Veronhar falls to the ground, limbs twitching oddly." followed shortly by: "As the General falls lifelessly to the ground, the rest of the soldiers scatter to avoid a similar fate".
Any wonder why these cowards lost Ilsalin to the spideys? :P
This fight is ridiculously annoying. The room lacks good corners, so get used to getting pushed around by the AE. The general himself is super resistant to magic, had really huge problems slowing him. The two commanders don't hit very hard, but every once in a while the general orders them to engage someone else, which makes offtanking really annoying. The arrows from the archers seemed to be the least of our problems.
We tried it with 6. War bard zerker cleric shaman and paladin. Anguish ish geared, except the cleric. Warrior boxing cleric and paladin boxing shaman. Just didn't have enough hands to deal with adds going elsewhere, keeping mobs slowed, and keeping everybody healed. Very frustrating to know that it would be winnable if we had just one or two more real people to play instead of having to use boxes.
Anyone know of a place you get get more info on how this guy should be taken out.numbers needed ect.Appears this guy is tied to the room along with his commanders.
Ok i was doing the charter udershore mission and got lost end up in a room next to him. Well he sees through Hide /sneak got smack so if u hide/sneak by him he sees through it.
