As a cleric type, this mob now also drops Simple Binding Powder and Grubby Crude Spell Scroll, which just dropped for me along with the Girdle.

Upon death there was the message:

Your faction standing with Creatures of Sandflow got worse.
Companion Siguros's corpse returns to the sands.

And the next time he spawned he dropped a Sunshard Pebble and the Helm.
And then Essence of Wind and an Earth Elemental Animation Essence along with the Helm again.
