Killed with air pet tanking (lvl 83) 2 T5 healer mercs and a 85beastlord + pet. Both of us SoD T3 gear.
Easy kill, resisted the charm np. Took 2 mins :)

I took him on today with my 95 mage and pets and T5 merc. Hes not effected by nukes so it was a pet and me fighting with our weapons took Maybe 3 mins life never went below 70. It was a cake walk. By the way he wouldnt pop when I got on the SouthEast tower so I camped came back and the fight was on.

HI I have a problem getting the Chaos Elemental to spawn was wondering if I
missed doing something please let me know what you did to get it to spawn

was a pretty good fight
parsed hp was bout 750,000 hp
max hit on my 81 mage pet was 2500 dmg, average was 1400, lowest was 200
this guy was only annoying when my mage pet died.. i had to run with him a little with my wizard and chain nuke him with rime snap from his 5% to death
overall, this definitely was a hard fight

i'm entirely serious when i say - i triod this mob with my two cleric buddies... NO SLOWS NO DEBUFFS (side my malo of course)... charm didn't affect a single one of us given he was occupied by my pet (air pet by the way)- and my lil mage buddy on Cazic is now proud owner of the element of chaos
honestly- order elemental was harder to trio- i don't know why but that's what i found (my clerics were basically below 50% mana at end of order elemental... which is lot more then what it was for chaos). /shrug- just trying to let you know the obvious... that these mobs are much easier then when they initially came out (but so much so, that my pet can tank them with out slow or any other dps- besides mine of course)
nukes i used were pretty much resisted (i never got the new SOF malo rk2 off, but obviously mala did- then so did annihilate of ab. version of the resist debuff)... turn summoned aa worked, annihilate un./ab. worked somewhat (not enough to be mana efficient- or useful even)... rancorous servant raped him until i was oom.
fight didn't even last long enough for frenzied burnout to refresh- so yah... totally gimp mob :) oh note, i pulled elemental with malo to begin with- he didn't cast **** on me... no charm ever occured- and i resisted the spell-de-haste AE that he casted- majority of the time (plus it lasts so temporarily that it's a non issue)... good luck my fellow conjurers

my pet tanked (no charm occurred... haha thats your winning strat)
me (80 mage - my guildy 80 cleric- and mage friend who needed kill... whom logged to his 78 cleric to help heal)
so me - 2 clerics - triod :)
same with order elemental... cheal rotation- clerics were 90m at end...
pet is focussed with enhanced minion 3, but im sure solteris grade focus will be just as good- or even lessor... which would just put clerics at less then 90m i imagine lol

I'm level 80, and this mob is still red to me. so it has to be higher than 80.

Chaos Elemental (Level 75) – Dreadlands
(Six - Eight Groups)
Spawns on the northeastern spire of the city, within sight of wizard or druid spires.
MELEE:
Quad 2700's.
This will require a full raid force, at least 40. First off, I must point out two spells he uses before I go any farther.
Chaos Affliction
Description
1: Decrease Spell Haste by 50%
2: Limit: Min Casting Time(10.00 sec)
3: Decrease ATK by 200
4: Decrease Hitpoints by 200 per tick
5: Increase Curse Counter by 16
6: Limit: Combat Skills Not Allowed
Resist: Prismatic (-350)
Chaos Epidemic
Description:
1: Charm up to level 0
2: Increase Curse Counter by 18
Resist:Magic (-900)
The best way to start this is to kite him and fully debuff him – He is unsnarable, but moves very slow. The other night i was outrunning him by a good distance with just Run 3, nothing more. Cripple is especially important as it will lessen the amount of times he procs the charm when wailing on people. He doesnt start summoning till 96% hp.
This charm has a successive proc on it – Meaning, your main tank will get charmed, and he will turn around and charm whomever he hits, and they charm who they hit, and so forth. The number of people charmed grows faster and faster as the time goes on, and it procs quickly.
The secret to this fight, and best catch for winning, is that the charm only procs on a successful hit. When you get ready to kite him towards the raid and engage, the tank should immediately click a riposte disc to hold agro, and not get charmed. It will keep the elemental busy, and not charming people, for the duration of the disc. As agro switches, anytime someone gets hit they pop riposte as well.
With increased cast duration, healers will have to work out a method to keep the tank up, possibly with fast heals, or just RGC and get it removed (I dont know that much about cleric things =) )
Then, i suggest going an all out DPS/Disc fight, extreme DPS to burn him down. His hp isnt that high, The dps of the raids that attempt it just slow amazingly as more and more get charmed.
At the end, he dies.
He drops the epic piece Element of Chaos, and a 2.0 chest will spawn.

The Charm Proc is this mob's biggest problem.
Max Range for heals and DPS worked to avoid aggro.
2nd try a week later ended in victory. Spawns Chest for loot: Dropped Polished Earring of Animosity
Warning: If other mages are ready for this fight also, have them hang back until you get near and spawn. Suggest pulling Mob far enough away from spawn point to prevent double spawns.

For some reason, the spells he casts don't show up with Spellcasting Awareness. However, I did see the following two spells land on me:

Just for info, Pets can be charmed.
His charm is proc'd so you can train him around until about 96 or 97% hp when he starts summoning you. But my group definatly couldn't do it alone.
